When I have conflicted feelings about a lead character and still find myself enjoying a book, I feel the author has done a great job, especially where character development is concerned! ."Great, glad you enjoyed. I'm sure i will too. It sounds different.
Jessi wrote: "I will finish throne of glass today. Sorry for not doing much this week. The holiday had me super busy this week!"Thanks, Jessi. I had to finish several last night myself.

Cecily wrote: "I should finish my "G" book before the time is up. But I won't get my James Patterson book done :("That's okay Cecily, you read a lot this week, I always have a random book unfinished on the planning sheet lol
Carrie wrote: "I will finish The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein by tomorrow morning!"Updating now.
Vicki wrote: "I’m adding a book now. Just need to get on the computer"Thanks Vicki! Just updated two more that I finished last night. Stayed up late. Zzzzzz
Right now we are at:5 Pilgrims Fully Finished
1 Partial with four openings
1 BOM Finished
3 out of 4 Bonuses Finished
Vicki wrote: "I’m adding a book now. Just need to get on the computer"I switched yours with Carrie's Boy from Berlin since we had I's finished on the partial word, and hers also worked with P because of the author, so just shuffled them around making sure all the books so far count.
Hope you enjoyed the series!

Me too! I slept for about an hour and a half and woke up and read my last book, so I'm going to sleep (I hope) and start my first book for next week but I'll finish it today for sure because I need it for another challenge tonight. I'm starting with

I have one more to go in the series, I think. I don't mind where my book is used as long as it is used. I guess you knew where else it could go. Actually, I don't see any change on the SS. Do you need to know what letters The Iron Queen works for?

Great, we'll use that one for next week. I'm also done with my goals for week 4, but will be starting my week 5 books today.
Hope you enjoy Rooster Bar.

I didn't see where else it would work from names grabbed in the description. It's there used as an I, so its' all good.
I got the Dickens BOM from my library. Will it count for the BOM though since it doesn't start until after the challenge ends?
Carrie wrote: "I got the Dickens BOM from my library. I'll doublecheck with the captain's group, sorry about that. I'll see if they are allowing it somehow.

Ok. Sounds good!
Erin, if I read another book that works for L, M, and R, would it help at all? It's only 168 pages so I can knock it out quickly. It seems that a lot of us who'd wanted to read BOM Frankenstein book can't even get it. I've been 2nd in the queue ever since I requested it, but my library never even ordered it and our four sister libraries that did order it just haven't received theirs. It's hard when we have BR or BOM books if they're newer books! It sucks we can't get the points for that reason.
Yeah I'm still number for my hold of BOM Frankenstein, but...no dice, I have been on the list for like a month. I just added for L Vicki...
I am a person who loves stats! Any way we can add a line that shows how many points we have individually contributed. I am just curious lol
Thanks, Cat! I’ll give it a shot. Is anyone adding an M or R book? I have 90 minutes to read that 168 page book so I’ll shoot for it. If I don’t get it finished on time or we don’t need it, hopefully it will work for our word next week if it has any characters in it that fit the letters. Lol
Carrie wrote: "I got the Dickens BOM from my library. It can count as regular book points if you want to read it though. I'm sorry for not catching that when I listed it as a BOM :(
Cecily wrote: "I am a person who loves stats! Any way we can add a line that shows how many points we have individually contributed. I am just curious lol"Cecily,
I have a tab on the planning spreadsheet. Havent updated this week but it shows number of books. Not points though, but I can figure that stuff out if you'd like
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
It's on the members tab
We currently have one opening left. Someone may finish a book that fits it. It's an R. If the R is completed any books in a partial word after it will count.
I just finished my "G" book but could also be used for "P" for the character "Phoebe." Too bad it didn't have a "R" character.

I already owned one for November thankfully, so that helped as a coincidence.

Thanks Cecily, I will look now and see how we can arrange it
Is anyone finishing an R Today?
I’m completing an R book so unless someone else finishes one first you can count on me. I have another hour right? Does it have to be posted by 1:00 PST?
Vicki wrote: "I’m completing an R book so unless someone else finishes one first you can count on me. I have another hour right? We usually try to be done by 4 just in case but can go over that if needed.
One more question: I’m finding this book also has letters for EGGNOG! It can cover every letter, so I need input. Should I finish it for this week or finish it and add it as my first book for EGGNOG? Lol Votes? Lol JK
Vicki wrote: "One more question: I’m finding this book also has letters for EGGNOG! It can cover every letter, so I need input. Jessi wrote: "Finished Throne of Glass!"Woohoo, thank you Jessi, looks like it has an R Character too: Kaltain Rompier
Since we just finished another full spelling of Pilgrim thanks to the R being done, any book will count in our next Partial word of Pilgrim. Thanks for the hard work as always, team!
Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* wrote: "Jessi wrote: "Finished Throne of Glass!"Woohoo, thank you Jessi, looks like it has an R Character too: Kaltain Rompier"
I completely forgot about her last name! lol I'm still tired from Thanksgiving!
I volunteered to do DQ's for the BOM
. I read it previously in December 2016, so we'll see if they choose me. lol

No problem, sometimes the book page tells me more character names, which really helps.
Vicki wrote: "I volunteered to do DQ's for the BOM

I was passed over all the BOM's for questions, they randomly draw names and we only needed three per book in November. You still have to re-read the book in December for it to count - you probably already know that, but just in case
We are officially done for the week.We have completed all four bonuses and scored 1,225 points for the week.
We finished 43 books for Week 4 - Way to go, all!

We did REALLY well this week!! I'm proud of us! Yes, I know I'd have to re-read it and that's okay. I though maybe they overlooked you because you're a MOD and have had lots of experience with DQ's. LOL If it's a random thing, I'm not usually too lucky BUT I did win a trip to Colleen Hoover's Book Bonanza that I went to in Colorado in July, so who knows! Although, I don't put them in the same category. LOL

I was lucky to get a trip to San Francisco and the Goodreads office years ago for the first year's Goodreads Power User Convention- we a delight and amazing experience. Who said reading would never get us anywhere? ;)
