I will admit, one of the few books I’ve hated so far. I found I didn’t like enough of the characters until much farther in. I didn’t care about the main character (Elodie), and as this story discusses a span of time.... I found it skipped around too much. I get what the author was going for, but found she chose an uninteresting route to tell her story. I think there was a lot of potential to the world/story, but... Eh. I wished I didn’t pick this one for the month.
