Karen (2noelle) I just purchased this yesterday, the hard copy version, from B&N! I'm loving the recipes and I'm anxious to try them. There's a really unorthodoxed way of measuring flour that I've never seen before. In all "Hannah's" recipes that contain flour, she suggest packing it!!!! I bake a lot and that's so unusual, but if that what makes the recipe work, then that's what you should do. I usually scoop and level with a butter knife.

Are there pictures of the recipes? All or some?

I would love to hear your recipe reviews of any of the recipes that you try from the Joanne Fluke cookbook! =)

Karen (2noelle) There are no pictures, only what's on the back dust jacket. There are illustrations, but not of the finished product. Pictures would have been great. On the back of the book there's a cherry cheesecake some multicolored cookies, and a merigue pie.

Karen (2noelle) How did you sign up for the newsletter? I was looking on her site, but didn't see anything for newsletters.

Camille (mrsacb) | 5 comments I tried a casserole and the pumping muffin just this past Thanksgiving. They were both tasty. I am not much of a baker but do enjoy cooking and definitely enjoy J. fluke's books. I have listened to all of the ones I have completed on audiotape. It really makes the books come to life.

AngryGreyCat (angrygreycatreads) Hi - new here but I just wanted to say I've made a few recipes here from Joanne Fluke (cookies) and Kerry Greenwood's Corinna Chapman series (chocolate grog). I can't think of any others off the top of my head. I'm sure I made things from Diane Mott Davidson's books because I read all of them.

Nicola (lexi2007) | 1 comments I have made a few recipes from the livia washburn books from cookies to the honey baked ham which was delicious.

message 66: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 1 comments Thanks for the comments! I hope you have tried more since I posted this. I just started the books by Josi Kilpack. Her recipes seem more my style. I bought the books too. So I will start baking. We are doing some great vegan baking lately. I've had two great successes. One was chocolate cake, and the other was a cranberry nut bread. Let me know if you want recipes.
