"Then what do you think I should do?" He asked looking over to her. "You know him better then I do. "Obviously he wont stop if I talk to him."

Avalon glanced at him. “Prove him wrong. Or ignore him..” she said simply. “I told you this all earlier.”
"I know you did." He shook his head. "I've just had to deal with people like him before. "I guess I might as well ignore him for now." He thought for a moment. "I'm going to get something to eat."
Avalon nodded. “Shale will knock it off...” he mumbled. “Alright. I’ll sit with you in a few.” She said softly
"Okay." He nodded heading off toward the kitchen as he smelled the faint smell of food. Glad there didn't seem to be a lot of people in there right now.
Avalon sighed softly and headed down the hall away from all the others, glancing in some of the rooms to see if she could find her brother. She just wanted to check on him again. Besides, she didn’t know quite what to do about London being upset/annoyed.
"Hey Avalon." Olivia smiled slightly as she saw her coming down the hallway. "How was my brother today? "Heard you ran into some problems?" She had heard it from Shale of course, but she had learned a long time ago not to listen to everything he said. He also did seem to be a bit afraid of her.
Avalon smiled faintly at Olivia. “He did pretty good today. Has some good ideas for us.. and yeah, we ran into a bit of trouble, had one sneak up behind us and call for others. But we handled it..” she assured, shrugging at her.
"I figured it wasn't as bad as I was told." She nodded her head thoughtfully. "Thank you for telling me. "Hopefully he can do his own patrols soon." She said thoughtfully. "I'll talk to you more later." She told her, putting her hand on her shoulder before walking down the hall again.
Avalon nodded slightly to her. She continued down the hall away from everyone else for a few. She soon came back to the main area, getting some food before sitting down at a table with London.
London was sitting at one of the tables a bit to the back, glad most of the people had cleared out. He looked up from his food as he saw her come over and smiled slightly.
Avalon smiled faintly at him. She pulled out a chair and sat down with her bit of food, keeping quiet since she didn’t really know what to say
"Hey buddy." Shale clapped him on the back, plopping down beside him with his food. "No worse for wear I hope." He chuckled as he started eating. London pressed his lips together, deciding to try and ignore, him as he ate quietly.
Avalon rolled her eyes. “You’re back from your patrol a bit early shale.” She commented quietly. She ate her food quietly.
"Simon took over for me." He shrugged as if it was nothing. "I'll be heading back soon, just wanted to check in on my friend here." He smirked slightly. London gritted his teeth, shoving food quickly in his mouth so he wouldn't say anything.
“You’ve got no friends here shale.” Avalon Mumbled. “You’re just being annoying today.” She shrugged and kept eating.
"Oh come on Avalon, don't be that way." He said looking over to her. "You know I'm just messing around. "He's alright." He laughed.
"No." London set his silverware down and looked over to him. "She's right, and I'm sick of you picking on me. "I'm not going to let you do it anymore." Shale looked at him for a minute, before he smiled and nodded his head, picking up his tray and standing up.
"See you around, London." He told him, laughing the whole time.

“It’s been a long day. I don’t have the energy for your bullshit.” Avalon said simply. She smiled faintly when London stood up to him and watched shale walk away. She glanced to London. “Nice.” She mouthed softly.
London felt a bit of relief as he did that, watching Shale walk away made him feel even better.
"I seriously...wow..." He ran a hand through his hair. He smiled a bit as he realized what he did.
"I seriously...wow..." He ran a hand through his hair. He smiled a bit as he realized what he did.
Avalon smiled faintly. “I don’t know if that’ll be enough to stop him for good but hopefully so. If not, just keep telling him off and he’ll get the picture..” she assured.
"Yeah, I'll try." he smiled and nodded. "I have never really done that before. "Use to uh....get picked on a lot at school. "I guess I don't want that to happen here."
Avalon nodded slightly. “That makes sense.” She Agreed softly. “Shale is about the only one who’ll screw with you here so it should all be alright.”
"I wonder what his deal is..." He said thoughtfully, shaking his head as he thought about it only for a second. "Anyway, I'll be okay now I think."
“I don’t know. Maybe he was a high school bully or something. He doesn’t talk much about his past or anything..” she explained softly. Avalon finished eating and leaned back in her chair.
"Doesn't matter I guess." He shrugged a bit, finishing up his food. He didn't think it was his business anyway. Whatever his reason, he wasn't going to let him get away with it anymore.
Avalon nodded slightly. “Yeah..” she agreed softly. She glanced around the nearly empty room and yawned softly. She didn’t see where shale had gone off to but didn’t really care. It wasn’t important
"You should get some rest." He told her, smiling softly. "It has been a long day. "I'll probably go to bed in a minute." He nodded his head after a moment.
Avalon shrugged. “I probably should.” She Agreed softly. “I might wait till I find avature though. I dunno..”
"I'm....going to walk around a bit." He said nodding his head. "Not really tired yet, surprisingly. "I'll see you in awhile."
Avalon nodded slightly. “Alright. I’ll see you whenever you get back there I guess.” She shrugged at him
He smiled a bit as he stood up and went over putting the dishes he had used away. He wasn't exactly sure what he was going to do, but he wanted to explore just a bit more before he got fully tired.
Avalon left him alone. She finished eating and put her dishes away. She got her stuff and headed back across the street to put it all away.
London had managed to have a bit of a nice quiet walk for the first few minutes. On his way back he ran into Shale who very much thought he had embarrassed him. London sighed as he walked up to his room now, hiding his face in the pillow as he lay down so she would see his face.
Avalon was laying in bed, humming some faint nearly forgotten song to herself. She glanced over when London came in, frowning st how he hid. “You okay?”
"Peachy..." He said a bit sarcastically his face still buried in the pillow. He reached back and pulled the blanket over his head to hide himself just a bit more.
“Yeah. Right.. you don’t have to hide.” She said, laying back down on her bed and looking up at the ceiling.
"I sort of do." He said quietly, taking in a deep breath. Trying to work up the courage to actually show her what had happened. "I just...don't want it turned into a big thing."
“It won’t get turned into a big thing.” Avalon assured gently. She looked over at him, a bit concerned at how he felt the need to hide.
"Fine..." He gave in after a moment, taking another minute to pull the blanket from off him. He pushed himself up into a sitting position and lifted his face up slowly to look over to her, showing his now black eye and cut above his lip.
Avalon frowned and swore under her breath. “Damn.. tell me you at least punched him back?” She asked after a moment, sitting up. He looked him over worriedly.
I did." He said looking down at his hand now. "I got in a few shots of my own..." He hadn't really got a look at him before he left, but he did remember seeing at least a bit of blood.
Avalon nodded slightly. “Alright..” she said faintly, biting her lip. Part of her figured she should go make sure Shale was fine and wasn’t gonna come back for revenge since he knew where London was. The rest of her figured she should just stay and make sure London was fine.
He looked down at his hands, hurting a bit after punching Shale in the face. He wondered why where ever he went he seemed to be always finding himself in situations like this. Maybe it was just something about the way he was. He sighed and shook his head sadly.
"Please...don't tell Olivia." He said quietly.
"Please...don't tell Olivia." He said quietly.
“I’ve got no reason to tell her.” Avalon assured. She watched him worriedly, unsure what would help him. “I don’t know if we’ve got any ice. Want me to check?” She offered softly, looking back at him.
"It's alright." He shook his head. "It doesn't really hurt right now." He took in a deep breath. "It's not the first time anyway, I can...." He trailed off not really knowing what to say.
Avalon frowned bit nodded. “Alright...” She Agreed softly, worried still. She hated seeing anyone hurt, especially because of another person.
"Don't worry about me." He gave her a bit of a forced smile. Not wanting her to have to deal with it. "I'll be okay." At least he hoped that it settled it, but he really wasn't sure.
Avalon nodded. “Alright. Imma go make sure Shale isn’t gonna run to Olivia and make this into something more... do you need anything?” She asked, getting up and stretching.
He knew he couldn't stop her from doing that, though he wished she wouldn't. He shook his head, laying back down on the bed.
"No." He gave her a reassuring smile. "I'm alright, thank you."
"No." He gave her a reassuring smile. "I'm alright, thank you."
