Fallen Catalyst and Fangs
Avature nodded. “I’m not the one gonna be doing it but thanks.” He smiled weakly. “I’ll be back later...” he added with a shrug, rubbing a hand through his hair.
"Right." He nodded and sat back for a moment. But thought about what he said, if he wasn't going to do it. That meant only one other person, he was suddenly even more worried.
Avature gave a small wave to Olivia before heading out and making his way to Avalon’s post. He quietly explained his plan that she would take out the sniper and then get their communicator and attempt to trick them.
Iris was just the outskirts of where they were, narrowing her eyes and gripping the sniper in her hand. She glanced at the clock she had and nodded to herself. Time was up for them, she crouched down a bit and as silently as she could started to approach.
Avature stayed with her for a bit, just watching. Avalon stayed with him, tucked down low so she was hidden, the rifle barrel nearly invisible from the window frame. She watched carefully, occasionally glancing through the scope.
Iris noticed the perches, must be watches she thought to herself. She noted each of them and kept forward, heading to find a good place to set up to be able to see the whole building. Finding her targets would be easier once she did.
Avalon shifted and took aim as soon as she recognized that it must be Iris. She bit her lip and hesitated for a moment, unsure about taking the shot. She took a breath and shook the thought away, reminding herself why she had to do this.
Iris heard the shot go off, gasping just as it hit her in the neck. She gritted her teeth and fell backwards, holding her hand to the wound. It didn't take long before she completely passed out, her gun and communicator falling out of her hands beside her.
Avalon fired when she exhaled, watching through the scope as the shot hit iris in the neck. A little lower than she had aimed for but it would do. She shifted and fired again once iris fell, aiming for her head to kill her so she wouldn’t bleed out and die suffering. She glanced at Avature and quickly got up, grabbing the paper.
London heard the shot go off, and then the next one. He sighed and wished there was a window, hoping that the two were from Avalon and that she was okay. He bit his lip as he glanced over to the communicator then over to Olivia, who was talking to Shale. And of course he was doing his best to try and lighten the situation, getting her mind on other things for now.
Avalon quickly got to iris and made sure she was dead before taking her communicator and gun away. She looked over iris for a moment, biting her lip before walking back to the watch tower with the communicator.
London pressed his lips together, turning the communicator back on hoping to hear her voice come through. The waiting was making him anxious, but he did his best to stay as calm as he possibly could.
"London chill." Shale said suddenly. "They got everything taken care of. "Besides Avalon is strong, she can take care of herself."
"London chill." Shale said suddenly. "They got everything taken care of. "Besides Avalon is strong, she can take care of herself."
Avalon glanced at the page, repeating it in her head a couple times. She bit her lip and didn’t speak it into the communicator, thinking she’d need London to beloneitg the code because she doubted it would be accepted without question. She told Avature the same thing and moved to head back out.
"What?" London looked over to Shale as he said this. Shale slightly smirked and chuckled a bit.
"When this part is all over." Shale told him. "You better tell her, otherwise I might do it for you." Olivia rolled her eyes at the two, going back to reading her book.

Avature nodded. He grabbed the other gun and followed s bit after Avalon, going and searching iris first. Avalon came to the station and into the room. “Alright London. I’ll need your help with responses after this. Olivia and shale, you’ve gotta keep quiet.” She said, serious and seeming to be wide awake and a bit on edge. She sat down with the paper and communicator, having left the gun by the door b
London was relived when she came in the door. Shale and Olivia nodded and sat back quietly.
"Alright." He nodded his head. "It'll be okay, just remember to stay calm."
"Alright." He nodded his head. "It'll be okay, just remember to stay calm."
Avalon nodded. She glanced over the page again before speaking the sentence into the communicator, her voice slow and calm, just like how Avature had coached her to speak after hearing londons instructions.
London nodded as she spoke, so she would know she was doing it right. When she was done, he put a finger up to tell her to wait. The communicator crackled to life and the leaders voice came through.
"Repeat Sniper." He said his voice void of emotion. London looked over to Avalon again and nodded for her to repeat the words again.
"Repeat Sniper." He said his voice void of emotion. London looked over to Avalon again and nodded for her to repeat the words again.
Avalon fell quiet right after. She listened before repeating the words again. The communicators were good but they still were like radios and could garble or muffle stuff occasionally so she didn’t think much of it, just hoping her voice was similar enough so as to not get caught.
London held up his finger again after she repeated. There was a long pause before the leader spoke again.
"Confirmed sniper." He said. "Cleared for home." London felt relief go through him as he heard this, he quickly clicked off the communicator.
"You did it." He smiled at her.

Avalon nodded. “But they’re expecting her to return. So we need to make it look like she was attacked by zombies or something if they come looking. Otherwise, they’re gonna catch on...” she said softly. “Or we can keep up the ruse. Hide her body and say she was spotted and we took her in like we did with you. We make her seem like she’s spying for them when we just feed them false info..” she suggested a bit warily.
"I don't know if they will go for that." London shook his head. "If we keep trying to play this ruse out they'll know something is up. "I think our only chance right now is to set it up to make it look like Zombies got to her. "And since they think we are gone, they'll go looking somewhere else. "They wont come back here, at least not for a long time."
Avalon nodded. “Then I’ll be back. Avature and i will handle her body.” She Mumbled, setting down the communicator before getting up. She left before London could say anything, just wanting to handle everything so she could sleep.
London went to say something else to her but couldn't as she walked out. He sighed and sat back in the chair again.
"Let her get some sleep first." Olivia said standing up. "You can talk when she gets rest. "I'll help Shale back to his room then I'll be back to help you."

Avalon hadn’t intended to come across as rude or anything. She just wanted to help Avature stage the body properly so she went and focused on that. She could be with London and talk to him afterwards.
London packed his book and things into his bag as Olivia was gone. He sighed as he sat there, feeling really tired suddenly. He was glad when she came back a few minutes later and took his bag, helping him to his feet and walking with him back to his room.
Avalon helped Avature, it not taking them long to move the body to a place where the zombies would definitely find iris near the edge of town. They left her communicator and gun with her, leaving a few empty shells like she’d tried firing but couldn’t fend off the zombies. Once they finished, Avalon went to the station and cleaned up a bit before heading back to the room, planning on sleeping. Now that the adrenaline had worn off, she was exhausted.
Olivia helped London over to his bed, and he lay down with a hard breath.
"You get some rest." She told him. "You may not think so, but you did a lot today, you helped a lot." She gave him a quick hug. "I'll see you later." He nodded and lay his head on his pillow, closing his eyes as sleep suddenly came to him.

Avalon quietly came inside and up to her room when Olivia was just heading out. She glanced her over. “I am sleeping for a while. Unless we’re all about to die or something major happens, I’m not waking up.” She said quietly.
"Of course." She nodded her head. "You definitely need some rest, I'd say more then most of us. "Take a few days off, I'll let you know if something big happens. "Let me know if you need anything."
“Thanks. I don’t need that long thought. Just a solid 12 hrs at least.” She smiled weakly at her before quietly easing open the door to the room, not wanting to wake London if he was already sleeping.
London had been sleeping, but he woke up when he heard someone come in. He opened his eyes a bit to see who it was, before closing them when he saw her. He smiled slightly and sighed softly.
“Sorry.” She Mumbled, seeing his eyes flick open. She quietly set her stuff down and slipped off her boots before laying down in her bed, pulling the blankets over her. Avalon looked over at him.
"It's alright..." He yawned quietly. "Just get some rest..." He started to say but trailed off as he drifted off to sleep again.
London woke up the next day blinking his eyes open. It was later in the day, but not by much. He carefully stretched himself out and yawned.
Avalon was still asleep. She was curled up tightly in her bed, hugging her pillow close, a knife visible in one of her hands. She had woken up occasionally but kept falling back asleep.
London glanced over to her, seeing her asleep made him smile a bit. Seeing the knife in her hand made him worry that she hadn't really gotten a lot of sleep. He decided to just let her be for now, she needed as much sleep as she could get.
Avalon was a light sleeper so it was common for her to wake up at the littlest thing but she was so exhausted that she couldn’t stay awake. And anyone trying to wake her would likely be met by the knife in her hand, her grip tight on the handle. She slept for a bit longer.
London lay there for awhile before he looked over to see Olivia slightly come into the room. She had food for both of them, she handed one of the plates to him and set the other down for Avalon later. She gave him a smile and silently left again.
Avalon stirred at the faint noise. She opened her eyes and glanced around quickly before relaxing a bit. She bit her lip and sighed, laying back down.
He heard her sigh and looked over, seeing she was awake.
"Hey." He said softly. "Did you sleep well?"
"Hey." He said softly. "Did you sleep well?"
Avalon glanced over at him. She bit her lip lightly. “Hey. Not really..” she answered, mumbling. She set the knife down on the bed.
"I'm sorry." He said sitting up a bit. "You know if you want you can go back to sleep. "I wont bother you."
“It’s okay. Someone’s still gotta go back on watch tonight.” Avalon Mumbled. She sat up slowly, rubbing her face and yawning again. She looked over at him.
"I'm sure you can take a day before you go back out." He said softly. "I'm sure Olivia already has it taken care of." He nodded over to the plate on the table. "Olivia brought food for you too."
Avalon shrugged, biting her lip. “Yeah but I said before that I’d handle it..” she said softly. She looked over at him before at the food. “Was she just in here?” She guessed.
"Yeah, she just left a minute ago." He nodded his head. "She didn't say anything though. "She probably wanted to make sure you got as much rest as you wanted."

"Yeah, that's good." He nodded his head. "You'll be fine if you do exactly that."
