"Okay." He nodded a bit and took it back, setting it to the side. He thought about telling her to get some rest. But h wasn't sure she would agree, knowing she probably had something to do.

“I’ve gotta go on watch soon...” She Mumbled softly to him. “I’ll see you in the morning I guess.” She shrugged st him.
"Take care Avalon." He told her, he looked at her for a moment. "If I hear anything over the communicator I'll let you know." He nodded his head a bit.
“Alright. Thanks. Take it easy..” she said softly, moving to head out. She paused and looked back at him after getting her bow. “I’m sorry... we didn’t get a chance to talk about whatever it was we were gonna talk about.” She said faintly, remembering promising to talk to him about something when she brought their food back, just not remembering what it was.
"It's okay." He managed a bit of a smile. "Don't worry about it." He looked down for a moment before looking back up to her. "It...it's not important."
Avalon watched him for a moment. “Are you sure? I can stay and we can talk for a bit longer..” she offered. “Or first thing in the morning if you’d rather..”
"We can talk later." He told her softly. "You just worry about your patrol for now." He took in a breath. "Like I said....it's not that important right now."
“But obviously it is. You’ve been wanting to talk for a while and I keep unintentionally blowing it off...” she commented softly.
"It's okay." He shook his head. "You've been busy, and I've been hurt. "And I don't want to just spring it on you right before you have to go out there. "So we can talk later. "Your right it is important, but it can wait for a bit longer."
Avalon bit her lip. “Okay. First thing in the morning when I get back then?” She offered, not wanting to keep putting it off or make it like she was ignoring him.
"Alright." He agreed. "I'll see you then." He smiled as he silently took in a deep breath. Before he had been sure of what to say to her, but now he wasn't so sure. He guessed it would come back to him in the morning.
Avalon smiled at him. “Alright. Goodnight London. I’ll talk to you in the morning.” She promised faintly, getting ready to go.
"Goodnight..." He watched her go, before moving to lay back down on the bed. Carefully sliding back down so he would hurt anything. He lay his head on the pillow and lay there staring up at the ceiling.
Avalon went out and took shales post for the night. She stayed up all night and kept watch, biting her lip and just trying to focus on her task instead of worrying or making plans or anything else.
London didn't really sleep, he closed his eyes but couldn't get there. It was halfway through the night when the communicator crackled to life, and he heard the voices. He reached over and grabbed it turning the volume up a bit.
Avalon stayed out, Avature and Olivia keeping the other communicators while she kept watch. Avature had offered his to hers but she’d refused since she was gonna be outside all night. She didn’t want the noise to draw attention to her.
London sighed as he heard them talking in there code. He knew what they were saying though and it wasn't good. He gritted his teeth as he glanced from the bed toward the door. He needed to be able to tell them, but he didn't know if he would make it.
Avalon kept on her watch. Avature has been up and heard the talking. He went to Avalon’s room, tapping on the door before coming in, thinking she’d be there still. He glanced at London. “I’m guessing all this chatter isn’t anything good?” He asked when he saw him.
London was just about to try and get up when he came in, he was glad he came here. He knew if he hadn't of shown up he would have dragged himself to find him or Olivia.
"Yeah." He nodded his head. "They're planning when they are going to attack. "Tomorrow they are sending someone to scope it out here, size us up. "She might also try and target Olivia."
"Yeah." He nodded his head. "They're planning when they are going to attack. "Tomorrow they are sending someone to scope it out here, size us up. "She might also try and target Olivia."
Avature sighed. “Well. Fuck.” He started. “I’m gonna go get Olivia. Keep track of anything important you hear. I’ll be right back.” He assured, moving to run off to get Olivia.
London sighed, this was earlier then he had though. He shook his head as he grabbed a piece of paper and set the communicator down on the bed beside him.
Olivia was in her office now, she had managed to doze off in her chair. Her head laying on her arm against her desk.

Avature went out. He quickly went to Olivia’s office, walking right in. “Olivia. You’ve gotta get up. It’s urgent.” He said quickly, shaking her arm gently.
Olivia gasped a bit as she lifted her head and looked up at him.
"What?" She stood up seeing the look on his face. "What's going on, Avature?"
"What?" She stood up seeing the look on his face. "What's going on, Avature?"
“We need to head back to London’s room. The people. They’re chatting. And they’re plotting to attack. Tomorrow..” he said quickly, already moving to head back
"Tomorrow?" She blinked, then shook it off and nodded. "Lets go." She came around the desk and headed out the door. Tomorrow was early, but she wasn't going to freak out right now. She needed to stay strong and get her people through this.
“Sorry to wake you. But we’ve gotta be as prepared as we can be.” Avature said as he quickly headed back with her to London’s and Avalon’s room. He came in and sat on Avalon’s bed. “Hear anything more?”
London looked up as he heard them come in, Olivia stood by his bed crossing her arms.
"They are sending a sniper." He told them worriedly. "They are only sending her for now, so she can try and take out Olivia. "They figure they take out the leader, we will be easier targets." Olivia ran a hand through her hair, trying to keep her brave face on.

Avature nodded. “Okay. Simple solution. Keep Olivia in an interior room. Get Avalon our best rifle, let her take them out?” He suggested softly, glancing between them.
"I think it's for the best." London agreed nodding his head, looking over to Olivia. Who looked as though she didn't really like the idea.
"I don't want Avalon to have to do that again." She shook her head a bit. "I can take care of it...."
"No." London cut her off. "You have to let us take care of this. "You have to let us protect you this time."

“Avalon is one of our best shots that we’ve got here.. give her a gun and a decent scope and a good watchpost, she can take them out.” Avature reminded her. “She won’t hesitate since it’s nobody she cares about..” he added with a shrug. “Unless you’ve got someone better in mind. Not yourself..”
Olivia sighed, looking between the two. She knew Avalon was the best shot that they had. She was a decent shot, but not as good as she was. And it seemed like the two of them were determined to make sure she didn't go out there.
"Fine." She agreed reluctantly. "Let Avalon know, but after this is over she needs a few days off."
"Fine." She agreed reluctantly. "Let Avalon know, but after this is over she needs a few days off."
Avature nodded. “I will. She’ll hopefully be able to get some rest after all this. Shale will be able to go back on duty soon so that’ll help.” He commented. He looked back to London. “Any statement as to which way they’re coming from?”
"From what I could gather she'll be trying to come up through the woods." He told him. "She's going to try and keep out of sight, and set up somewhere she can see through the windows."
Avature nodded. “So get olivia away from any windows.. make a post on that side of town for Olivia.” He explained softly, shrugging at them. He bit his lip lightly.
Olivia suddenly thought of something.
"This has to be the woman that Shale told us about." She said thoughtfully. "We need to find a spot for him too."

“Well keep you two together. Pick an interior space and we’ll move while it’s dark.” Avature answered softly, shrugging at them. “At least we know what we’re likely up against then,” he commented.
"I'll get on that now." Olivia stood up and sighed, hating to have to be tucked away while everyone else was fighting for her. But then again she did trust Avature with her life. She trusted he was making a good decision.
"I'll let you know if I hear anything else." London called to her as she left the room.
"I'll let you know if I hear anything else." London called to her as she left the room.
Avature bit his lip and looked at London. “I’ll be back to check on you. Do you need anything or is there anything I need to pass along to Avalon?” He asked, standing up and grabbing his own communicator.
"I'm good for right now." He shook his head, he thought about Avalon and sighed, for now that could wait even more. "Just tell her to be safe." He said instead of what he wished he could say.
“Alright. I will. I’ll be back soon. Just gonna get Olivia and shale safe and get Avalon moved to a better lookout..” Avature explained before heading to the door.
"Right, see you later." He lay his head back and stared up at the ceiling. Keeping the communicator on next to him in case anything else was said.
Avature headed off. He went and got their best rifle and ammo before heading to move Avalon’s current post. He went and filled her in on what was going on and he helped her move to s better location. He then checked on Olivia and shale.
Olivia was already in the room with Shale, explaining what was going on.
"So they did send her after all." Shale said with a sigh. "Even if we are going to be put somewhere she can't see us, I still think it's a good idea to have a weapon."
"I'll have mine." Olivia told him. "You are close, but your still not in any shape to use a weapon."

Avature listened from the doorway. “Yeah but he should have a knife or something. Some sort of way to defend himself from them if they make it past Avalon..”!$3 commented softly.
"Alright." Olivia agreed, reaching into her boot and pulling out one of hers. She came over and handed it to Shale. "I wont let her get passed me, but he's right. "Just in case." Shale nodded and gently took the knife from him, putting it into his belt.
Avature nodded. “I’ll be guarding here too. There’s no way they’re gonna get to you two.” He promised softly, shrugging. He ran a hand through his hair and watched them for a moment.
Olivia looked over to him and managed a smile.
"I don't tell you this enough." She said softly. "But thank you, Avature. "I really do appreciate everything you do around here. "And for having my back all the time."

Avature nodded. “You’re welcome. Even though it’s my job. I’ve got your back and then you’ve got mine.” He smiled faintly at her. “I’ll probably be around to check on you. Or someone will be...”
"Alright." She nodded. "Are you ready Shale?" She looked over to him, and he took in a deep breath.
"Yep." He nodded. "Lets get this over with." She nodded and left the room for a second, coming back with a wheelchair for him.
