London woke up an hour or two later. His side wasn't hurting as bad still, but the medicine was still working. He sighed wanting to get up, but not wanting to feel that pain again.

Avature soon found the box and brought them up to the room. He’d set them on the table near the bed with a tool kit that London had used earlier. He figured London would see them when he woke up b
London glanced over to the table, seeing the box there. He smiled a bit as he saw them, and carefully, but slowly pushed himself up into a sort of sitting position. At least he would have something to do.
Inside the box there were various old phones and radios and tablets, all sorta just piled up. A few charging cords as well.
London started to work, reaching into the box and taking out a few things before he started to work.
Avalon came into the room a while later, glancing at him. “How’re you feeling?” She asked, setting her backpack down.
He was in the middle of fixing up one of the phones.
"I'm okay." He told her. "Just a bit sore right now. "I guess I have to stay in bed awhile longer."
"I'm okay." He told her. "Just a bit sore right now. "I guess I have to stay in bed awhile longer."
“Alright..” Avalon nodded slightly. “I’m sorry you’re still sore though..” she commented, shrugging slightly.
"I just sort of pushed myself to hard today." He said setting what he was doing aside for a moment. "It's okay, It'll suck but I need to get better."
“I know. I’m just worried about you.” Avalon admitted. She sat down on her bed tiredly. “You want food?” She offered softly after a moment.
He smiled a bit and situated himself a bit more.
"I'm sorry I worried you." He said and sighed. "Thank you, if you don't mind getting me food that would be nice."
"I'm sorry I worried you." He said and sighed. "Thank you, if you don't mind getting me food that would be nice."
“It’s okay..” she assured softly, biting her lip. “Alright. Is there anything else you need?” Avalon asked, getting up. She knew there was more stuff she needed to get done but she just wanted a bit of a break.
"No that's okay." He shook his head, smiling a bit. "You know, you don't have to take care of me like this. "If you have other things to do don't worry about me. "I understand."
“It’s my job to take care of people. You’re included in that..” Avalon shrugged. “Besides. I need a bit of a break. I’ve been running all over today already.” She explained softly.
"I just..." He shook his head deciding to keep it to himself and say something else. "Anyway, when I am able to get out of this bed I'm going to make it up to you."
“You don’t have to do that London..” she said softly, watching him for a moment as she stood by the door. “I really don’t mind...”
"But I want to." He said looking over to her for a moment, but he shook his head. "But it's okay, right now we don't have to talk about it."
“Okay... we can talk about it in a few. I’ll go get food and we can just eat and talk..” Avalon decided faintly. She smiled faintly before slipping out the door.
London let out a long slow breath once she was gone. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to think of what he would say.
Avalon went and got them both some food. She came back pretty quickly, just wanting to sit and take a break. She quietly came back inside and brought his food over to him
He had been working a bit more once she had left, it was best to not even think about it. He set it aside again and smiled as she came over.
"Thank you." He smiled as he took it from her.
"Thank you." He smiled as he took it from her.
Avalon smiled and nodded. She gave him his food before taking her own and sitting on her bed. She sat criss cross, yawning softly. “How goes the tech stuff?”
"It's good." He nodded his head. "If I can fix up this phone, I can hopefully use it to pick up on there signals too. "It wont be as powerful as the ones they have, but it'll be something."
Avalon nodded. “That’s good. It doesn’t need to be as good as theirs. Just having something is pretty good and lots better than nothing.” She commented softly.
He smiled a bit taking a bite of his food, he chewed thoughtfully swallowing after a moment.
"I use to build and take things apart all the time." He told her.
"I use to build and take things apart all the time." He told her.
She nodded slightly. “That makes sense. I was never good st that. I could get stuff apart but never back together...” she admitted with a shrug before eating a few bites.
"At first I just wanted to see how everything was all put together, you know." He nodded. "But then I wanted to know what everything did, how it all worked. "I can...show you a few things if you want."
Avalon nodded. She’d been more curious about it when she was younger but she also was more stubborn and didn’t want any help in figuring it out so she’d just mess with it and try to work it out on her own. “Alright. I’d like that.” She smiled a bit.
"Good." He smiled a bit more. "It's not anything big, just a few tricks I picked up when I was out there alone." He bit his lip slightly before he ate another bite of his food. It had helped out there, he hoped maybe it would do something to help here.
“That’s still good though.” She agreed with a slight smile. She kept eating, sitting there quietly. Avalon glanced at him.
"Avalon!" Olivia came quickly into the room. "I'm sorry to take you from your break, but we could use a bit of help." She looked over to London and gave him a bit of a smile.
"What's going on?" He asked a bit worried, wincing slightly as he saw up a bit more.
"Don't worry." She told him. "It's nothing bad."
"What's going on?" He asked a bit worried, wincing slightly as he saw up a bit more.
"Don't worry." She told him. "It's nothing bad."
Avalon bit her lip and glanced at Olivia. “Okay..” she took a couple quick bites before setting her food down and getting up. She grabbed her bag out of habit and moved to follow her.
London sighed silently as he watched the two of them leave. Whatever was happening he wouldn't be there to help if it actually was bad, which he didn't know if he fully believed it wasn't.
Avalon Mumbled a quick apology to London before leaving. She glanced at Olivia. “Okay.. what’s going on?” She asked her, following her still.
Olivia looked over to her and smiled slightly.
"It's Shale." She said as they walked. "He's okay, actaully really good. "He just said he needed to talk to you about something and that it was really important."
"It's Shale." She said as they walked. "He's okay, actaully really good. "He just said he needed to talk to you about something and that it was really important."
Avalon raised an eyebrow, wondering why it couldn’t wait for like 10 minutes so she could just sit and eat. “Alright.” She Agreed and walked with Olivia to head back to where shale was.
They got to the room to where Shale was, he was looking way better now. He looked up as he saw them come in and seemed to visibly relax a bit as he saw them.
"Good." He let out a breath. "Your here."
"Good." He let out a breath. "Your here."
Avalon looked him over, making sure he was alright. “Hey.. Olivia said you wanted to talk?” She asked softly, glancing at him.
Shale glanced over to Olivia who went out into the hallway.
"I needed to tell you this first, I don't know how to tell Olivia quite yet." He glanced at the door again. "I know she wont be to happy when she finds out, and you probably wont be either."
"I needed to tell you this first, I don't know how to tell Olivia quite yet." He glanced at the door again. "I know she wont be to happy when she finds out, and you probably wont be either."
“Okay...” Avalon said a bit warily. “So what is it?” She asked, her mind already trying to guess at what it could possibly be. She glanced to the closed door before back to shale.
"I over heard something on one of those communicators." He said a bit quietly. "Avature went by the room earlier and I heard it...." He took in a deep breath. "The voice I heard, I know who it is. "And if she finds out I'm here it will be a lot more trouble for us here."
“Okay. Who is this and why is them knowing gonna be a problem?” She asked, sitting down across from him
"I have never told anyone this." He said pausing for a moment. "But before I got here I was in the compound, one of the servants that they worked ragged. "Her name is Iris, she was one of the guards there, supposed to watch us and make sure we were working. "When I managed to finally escape she was the one that was supposed to bring me back. "If she's with that group now it means they kicked her out."
Avalon sat quietly and listened to him as he explained his previously unknown backstory. “So if she sees you, she’ll be out for revenge?” She asked to make sure, trying to figure out what they were gonna do
"More then likely." He nodded his head slowly. "I'm sorry, I should have told you all this stuff sooner, but it wasn't....it didn't matter until now."
“So in other words, you can’t be seen or if you are, you’ll have to shoot first..” Avalon Mumbled. She bit her lip. “It’s alright. As you said, it wasn’t pertinent till now..” she assured faintly. She ran a hand through her hair. “We’ll figure it out..”
"I know this just got a whole lot more complicated." He said shrugging a bit. "I'll do whatever I can to make sure this goes easier. "I can tell you whatever you need to know. "If you need to know anything."
“As I said, we will make it work.” She assured shale. “And as for what else we need to know, is there any other pertinent information that you have at the moment?” She asked, looking st him.
"Actually yes." He blew out a breath sitting up in the bed more to turn to her. "You need to know all you can about her. "And I can tell you a lot. "Like that she's a sniper, barely misses anything. "Also that she is really good in a fight."
