Olivia wanted to help, but she had other things to worry about. She headed out the door and back toward home. She got back to her office and started to go through who would be best for the new duties.

Avalon worked quietly and diligently on her own. She didn’t mind that it would take her a few trips To get all the stuff back to the base, not wanting to distract anyone else with helping her.
By the time she was finished giving out new assignments and everything, Olivia noticed how hungry she was. Having not eaten for awhile, she had been side tracked and busy. And she still had more to do, she just grabbed a piece of fruit and ate it as she continued on.
Avalon made trips back and forth, bringing all the stuff into the station and downstairs into storage where she sorted it out and put it where it belongednn
London had managed to get himself out of bed, he had walked a few inches across the room before the pain got to much. He was now pretty much just laying in the middle of the floor staring up at the ceiling. Trying to muster up the strength to move back to the bed again.
After putting the second bit of stuff away, Avalon went out and to her room that she shared with London to check on him before she’d go to get the rest of the stuff. She came in quietly and frowned at the sight of him on the floor.
He had hopped not to be on the floor when she got back, knowing how he probably looked.
"Oh..." He pressed his lips together as he saw her standing in the doorway. "Hey...uh....how was your day?"
"Oh..." He pressed his lips together as he saw her standing in the doorway. "Hey...uh....how was your day?"
“It’s alright. Not over yet though. I just came to check on you..” Avalon explained softly. “Do you need some help getting up?” She offered faintly, looking him over
"Um..." He sighed as he nodded his head slowly. He wished he didn't need help like this, it made him feel useless. But he would have to deal with it for a bit longer he knew. "Yeah, probably..."
“Okay.” Avalon set her bag down and came over to help him up. “You feeling alright besides being on the floor?” She asked him softly, worried about him
London sat up as best he could as she helped him up, he winced a bit but didn't make a noise.
"I....I don't know..." He admitted. "I mean...I just can't stop thinking about everything...."
"I....I don't know..." He admitted. "I mean...I just can't stop thinking about everything...."
Avalon helped him up as gently as she could, being careful of his broken rib. “I’m sorry. Do you want me to stay with you and we can talk?” She offered. “Or I’ll be back shortly and can bring food too?” She shrugged at him.
"Please....don't go." He said as he lay back down. "I don't want to be alone right now." It hadn't been long that he was alone, but he realized how much better it was with others around.
“Okay. I won’t go. But I gotta go tell someone I’m back so they can finish up some stuff. It’ll take me just a minute, is that okay?” She asked him softly, hoping it would be. Most of the important stuff had been brought back but there was still a decent lot of food and stuff there.
He took in a deep breath and nodded his head slowly.
"Alright." He said quietly. He would be fine for a few minutes. He didn't know why he felt like he couldn't be alone, after being on the road alone all that time he should have been use to it.

Avalon nodded. She quickly left and found her brother. She told him about the remainder of stuff and he agreed to get it handled so she could go back with London. She came back after a couple minutes, entering the room quietly.
"This....this really is bad isn't?" He asked her as she came into the room. "I can't stop thinking about how much this is my fault.... "I screwed up everything."
Avalon came over and sat at the foot of his bed, careful not to jostle him. “Yes. It’s kinda bad. But you didn’t screw it all up. The group just found us..” she shrugged.
"They found us, because they are looking for me." He said looking over to her. "Because I didn't cover my tracks well enough. "And then you....were hurt because of it. "I just feel so terrible that I brought this all here."
Avalon bit her lip. “People get hurt sometimes.. it’s okay..” she said gently. “And so what? It doesn’t matter about whose mistake brought them here. They’re here and we took care of them. Well do it again if we need to..”
He thought about that for a moment before he manged the littlest bit of a smile.
"I know your right." He said softly. "You usually are." He reached over and tentatively put his hand over hers. "I should listen to you more often."
"I know your right." He said softly. "You usually are." He reached over and tentatively put his hand over hers. "I should listen to you more often."
Avalon shrugged. She turned her hand and loosely held his. “I’m just trying to reason it out to help you stress less. That’s all.” She explained softly.
"Well it helps a lot, thanks." He felt his side pounding lightly, probably from moving around so much earlier. "You know...I am very glad you found me that day. "Things have been hard, but I am happy to be here."
“Me too.. you’ve brought a lot of good with you..” Avalon said faintly. She glanced over at him and smiled faintly.
"You....think so?" He said sort of surprised to hear her say that. To him since he had been here things had started to just go down hill.
“You helped us get into the city and get medicine that we haven’t had here in ages, You immediately ordered to come and help on patrols and everything.
"Yeah I guess." He nodded his head. "I just want to do whatever I can to help here. "It just seems like the least I can do, you know."
"Hopefully by tomorrow I can at least walk around a bit." He said with a small laugh. "I always feel so useless when I can't do anything. "But I guess that's sort of my fault right now."
"Because I hoped...if I gave myself up to them, that they would leave once they were done with me." He shook his head. "But....they probably would have just come here anyway."
Avalon frowned. "Why would you do something like that?" She mumbled. "They are after everyone, you're just a bigger target currently." She said softly, looking at him. "You don't need to be a hero..."
"I know that now." He said quietly, closing his eyes for a moment. "They just....scare me more then anything else has." He shook the memories away. "And I don't want what happened to my friend...happen to you...."
Avalon nodded. 'You've got reason to be scared. They're dangerous.." She mumbled faintly. She glanced over at his last statement. "It won't.." She assured softly, rubbing his hand gently.
He looked down at there hands for a moment before looking back up to her, smiling softly as he gently gripped her hand a bit more.
"So have you seen Shale in awhile? He asked curiously.
"So have you seen Shale in awhile? He asked curiously.
Avalon held his hand gently, staying sitting on his bed. "Yeah. I went and checked on him this morning. He's doing better. Sort of bored I think but that's just cause he's used to always having something to do.
"Yeah I get that." He said with a small smile. "I sort of feel the same way. "But I'm glad he's okay, hopefully he can get back to his job soon enough."
Avalon nodded slightly. "Yeah. I know." She agreed, knowing that she'd be the exact same way if she was injured. She'd be trying to get back to normal as quickly as she could. "Hopefully so.."
He gently pushed himself up, so he was sitting up a bit. Which helped some of the pressure on his side, relieving a bit of the pain.
"Thanks for staying with me." He said letting out a slow breath.
"Thanks for staying with me." He said letting out a slow breath.
London smiled softly back, looking at her for a moment before he heard a loud sound come from outside. He blinked surprised as he tired to turn to look out the window.
"What was that..." He said trying to get a good look.
"What was that..." He said trying to get a good look.
Avalon frowned and quickly got up. “I dunno. I’ll look..” she let go of his hand and moved towards the window. She looked out the window, trying to see what had made the noise out there.
London pushed him up a bit more, wincing slightly as he did but ignoring it. He gasped slightly as he hard it again, this time seeing an explosion just outside where the barricade started. He gritted his teeth and sat back again.
"They're here...." he breathed. "Warning shots. "They will want to talk to Olivia..."
"They're here...." he breathed. "Warning shots. "They will want to talk to Olivia..."
“You stay here. Got it?” Avalon said quietly, not giving him a chance to protest. She grabbed her bow and arrows me before quickly heading downstairs. She wasn’t in charge but she would have Olivia’s back, avature would too.
London didn't get a chance to say anything as he watched her quickly leave. Olivia stood by the doors, her sword on her back and her arms crossed as she looked out the windows watching as a few people came walking up to the other side of the barricade.
"Sooner then I thought...." She said as she heard Avalon come up.
"Sooner then I thought...." She said as she heard Avalon come up.
Avalon nodded. “Yeah. Some sort of communication system maybe? But we didn’t find anything...” she said softly, shrugging at her as she watched outside.
"Well might as well go and see what they want." She said taking in a silent breath and opened the door, walking slowly out and headed over toward them.
Avalon kept her bow armed but lowered to the ground, walking out with Olivia. She was a bit nervous that the people would just shoot on sight but they had to try and meet them at least. Negotiate or do something.
Olivia eyed the small group of three. The one in front of them clearly the leader of this small group at least. She stopped a few feet away from the sizing them up, glancing over to Avalon for a moment. Before looked back to him as he spoke.
"You took out some of our people." He said glaring slightly. "How do you think we should handle this?"
"Your people took one of ours." She said. "We reacted how anyone would."
