His eyes widened a bit as he heard that, not expecting it at all. He blinked before he slowly looked back to her. Not sure exactly what to say, nothing was coming to mind. All he could do was look at her with a bit of surprise.

Avalon smiled faintly at him and shrugged. She didn’t say anything more, thinking she’d gotten out at least the important bits. She watched him for a moment.
He managed a small smile after a moment, seeing her smile. He understood, and for now that was fine with him. There would be more time to talk in the morning if she wanted to.
"Good night..." He whispered softly.
"Good night..." He whispered softly.
“Goodnight. Wake me if you need me...” Avalon said gently, looking over st him. She bit her lip and looked away, unsure what to do.
London managed to get some sleep, even though he was in some pain. After trying to move into a different position he decided it best not to move at all. Though he did have a terrible dream, which woke with a start the next morning. His eyes flying open as he quickly remembered he was okay and back home.
Avalon had slept for a bit before getting up. She went and got some food, bringing it up to the room so he could eat when he woke up. She wanted to go out on her patrol but wasn’t sure olivia wanted London alone.
London blinked a few times, feeling like he was even more sore then yesterday. He took in a deep breath as he as gently as he could sat up in bed.
Avalon glanced over from where she sat on her bed, setting down her crossbow. She didn’t have anything to do so she just was looking it over, lost more in her own head than anything. “Hey..” she greeted softly.
"Oh hey..." He looked over, shifting his weight a bit before he was comfortable. He smiled a bit. "I thought you would be out on patrol or something."
“I was gonna head out in a bit. I was waiting on you to wake up so I could see if you wanted someone to come stay with you or if you’ll be alright...” Avalon explained softly, shrugging st him.
"Oh, don't worry." He shook his head. "I'll be okay for awhile. "I can find something to occupy my time." He half smiled trying to think of something he could do for now, he would try and get out of bed later.
“You sure?” Avalon asked softly, biting her lip. She knew he was pretty badly injured but worried that he’d get up and go try and do something again when nobody was around.
He wasn't going to try and move though until he felt like he actually could. Not wanting to hurt himself more then he was, but he also didn't just want to stay in bed. He would figure it out.
"I'll be okay." He assured her.
"I'll be okay." He assured her.
Avalon nodded slightly. “Okay. Eat some breakfast?” She asked softly, getting up to grab the food she’d brought up off of the table. She glanced at him.
"Thanks." He was actually pretty hungry, having not eaten since the morning before. "I'll do that." He nodded a bit as he gently took it from her.
Avalon nodded. “I’ll come by to check on you in s bit?” She offered after giving him the food. She went to grab her stuff.
He didn't want her to have to worry so much over him, but he only nodded and started to eat. His stomach slightly growling as he did, thankful for something to eat again.
Avalon grabbed her stuff and got ready to go. She came over and gave him a quick, light peck on the cheek before heading for the door, blushing slightly.
He blinked swallowing his food as he watched her go, sort of surprised but he tried to shake it off. A light blush coming to his face.
Avalon didn’t have much reason for wanting to kiss his cheek, it just seemed right. She quickly ducked out of the room, blushing a decent bit. She went downstairs and over to the station to check on Shale and everyone else.
Shale was awake again, and sitting up in the bed. He looked over as he heard her come in and smiled a bit, setting the Olivia had loaned him to the side.
"Well good morning." He said.
"Well good morning." He said.
“Morning..” She Mumbled, still blushing faintly. “How are you doing?” Avalon asked, looking him over. She quietly walked over.
He noticed the bit of blush on her face, deciding whether or not to ask.
"Better." He said nodding his head, smiling slightly. "Don't if I'll be able to swing my bat any time soon, but I feel okay."
"Better." He said nodding his head, smiling slightly. "Don't if I'll be able to swing my bat any time soon, but I feel okay."
“That’s a good start at least. Worse comes to worse, I’ll teach you how to shoot a bow or something.” She shrugged. “I just came to see if you needed anything..”
"I ate not to long ago." He told her thoughtfully. "And I have this book, so I'm good now." He smiled after a moment. "So what's up with you?"
Avalon nodded slightly. “Alright.” She Agreed Softly. “And nothings up with me..” she answered with a shrug at him. The blush had slowly faded from her cheeks.
"If you say so." He half smiled. "How about our wannabe hero?" He asked with a small laugh. "How's he doing? "Not to bad I hope."
“He’s okay. Pretty hurt after being stupid yesterday but he’ll heal..” Avalon explained softly, shrugging at him. “He’s resting now..”
"Good, he may be stupid sometimes but we definitely can use him." He nodded his head with a small smile. "He's pretty good in a fight."
Avalon nodded slightly. “Yeah.” She agreed softly. “I’m gonna head out on patrol. I’ll check on you in a little while?”
"I appreciate that." He reached over and grabbed the book again. "Your a good friend Avalon, you know that." He smiled at her.
Avalon nodded slightly. “Thanks.” She said faintly before heading out the door. She went off to head outside. She wanted to go check out the building from last night.
London set his plate and such to the side, deciding he at least needed to try and stretch his legs in the room. He knew it would be difficult even standing in the room, but it was going to be worth it he hopped. He took in a very deep breath and moved his legs around to the side of the bed slowly pushing himself to his feet.
Avalon headed out. She went back to the building from the night before, wanting to investigate a bit.
Olivia was already inside, inspecting things the group had left behind. Trying to find anything that would help them deal with them better if they decided to come back again. She was now crouched down going through one of there bags.
Avalon glanced over at her. “Hey.0 she greeted faintly before walking over, checking out the setup they had and what had been left behind.
Olivia turned to look as she heard someone come in, relaxing when she saw it was only Avalon.
"There's more to these people..." She said to her. "They have guns, they have lots ammo. "Not only that, but they had food supplies for weeks."
"There's more to these people..." She said to her. "They have guns, they have lots ammo. "Not only that, but they had food supplies for weeks."
"I don't think so." She shook her head. "Government people would have had something to identify them as that, but these people...." She took in a breath crossing her arms. "I think we are dealing with something worse."
Avalon nodded. “London did say that this was just a small portion of them..” she mumbled faintly, worried about what that could mean for them. She bit her lip.
"No wonder he was so adamant about putting himself in danger." She let out a breath. "I think I know who they are." She looked over to Avalon. "And it means we have to be more alert."
Avalon nodded. “Alright. We will. We’ve got a couple buildings secure. Well keep more people on watch and it’ll be okay..@ she said softly.
"These people...they are a splinter group." She told her. "They aren't government but they were at one point. "So they are very well trained..." She shook her head slowly. "How did he even get mixed up with them."
Avalon nodded slightly. “Alright..” she mumbled faintly. “He said they found him I think... let him join. He escaped them later though when he found out they were killing people.”
"That's strange, you don't just join them." She said then sighed. "It doesn't matter, we know what to do. "Besides they wont strike again anytime soon, we have plenty of time."
“I don’t know. I can’t remember exactly. It’s something I can ask him about...” Avalon said softly. She bit her lip. “Good. We’ll make it as secure as possible in the meantime.”
She nodded her head.
"I'm going to head back and assign some extra guards." She told her. "I'll see you later." She put her hand on her shoulder before heading out the door.
"I'm going to head back and assign some extra guards." She told her. "I'll see you later." She put her hand on her shoulder before heading out the door.
“Do you think we should collect everything from here? The weapons and stuff?” She asked softly, thinking they should take the weapons out and make sure they were good and usable for them.
"I think that would be wise." She looked back to her, nodding her head. "Get whatever is use able, grab someone to help you if you need it."
