Fallen Catalyst and Fangs
“It got dark. I had to lose the group before we led them back to the base..” she mumbled softly. She let him hug her, biting her lip lightly. “I’m fine enough. I was just waiting a bit longer and I was gonna make it back...” she said faintly.
For some reason it took him a bit to realize how worried he really was. And that he was now hugging her, he took a step back and nodded his head.
"Lets get you back then." He said. "You're brothers outside."
"Lets get you back then." He said. "You're brothers outside."
Avalon nodded slightly. “Okay.” She Agreed faintly. She bit her lip and followed him outside, quickly moving over to her brother, her backpack hiding the blood that was staining the back of her shirt from a deep wound in her back.
He could tell she was in pain, but he couldn't really see where it was coming from. He decided to not ask until they were safely back home. He still felt as though it was his fault, not staying close to her. He would have to think of a way to make this right.
Avalon hugged avature gently, mumbling an apology to him. She let him go and moved between them. “I think the group is gone. But I’m not sure...” she cautioned faintly.
"They'll probably stick around for a bit..." London said looking down, he sighed and glanced around. That would have to be it, but he didn't want to tell them that knowing what they would say. "We should get back."
“Then you’re stupid for coming for me. Three people are a lot easier to track than one at night..” Avalon Mumbled faintly, Keeping her bow close to her and keeping close watch around them.
"They wont come out during the day." He told her quietly, shaking his head slowly. "They'll rest up until tonight, so we will be fine." He ran a hand through his hair, trying to figure out how he would go about doing this.
Avalon bit her lip and nodded. “Then let’s get back..” she mumbled, sticking close to avature but staying near them both. She kept walking with them.
London kept behind them, glancing around every so often a bit nervously. He knew he shouldn't have thought they had given up, he had let his guard down and she had gotten hurt because of it. He knew what he had to do.
Avalon glanced back at him. “Would you just walk with us instead of lurking behind?” She asked softly, wanting them all to stick together.
He blinked as he heard her voice, pulling him out of his thoughts. He only nodded once and slowly walked up with them.
"Sorry..." He said quietly, trying not to sound as nervous as he felt.
"Sorry..." He said quietly, trying not to sound as nervous as he felt.
“We took out a few of them. The group is pretty small now..” Avalon assured gently, trying to calm him down.
"The group last night was only a few of them." He told her. "There are definitely more of them." He pressed his lip together, realizing that he was just making himself more upset. He looked up finally as they got closer to home, seeing in now made him look down again.
Avalon sighed and let it go. They made it back safe. Now they just had to be extra on guard since his group probably had been led back there too. She or avature would talk to Olivia and set up a more solid plan for how best to go about it.
London stopped in front of the building and sat down on the front steps, running a hand down his face. At least she's okay, he told himself. But he didn't want there to be a next time, and he was going to make sure there wasn't. Right now he would just have to wait.
Avature glanced at him. “You should probably come on. I think you’ve got some useful information to share about this group...” he commented, sending Avalon inside.
"Yeah, I'll be in a second." He gave him a sort of smile, looking up at him for a moment before looking back down again. He definitely had some insight, but just thinking about it made him feel terrible all over again.
Avature frowned. “Okay. I’ll be back out in a few if you don’t come in..” he said before following Avalon inside.
London glanced back watching them go inside, he wouldn't be able to do it now. They would come looking, he blew out a breath and stood up slowly going inside after a moment.
Avature and Avalon met up with Olivia in the side office room that Avalon had first brought London in to. Avalon kept her backpack on to hide her back, not wanting to deal with it yet.
Olivia looked over as London came in, noticing he looked pretty distraught, but she needed to know anything she could about these people.
"Well just so you all know, Shale is improving." She told them. "His fever is gone, and he was eating a bit before you got back."
"Well just so you all know, Shale is improving." She told them. "His fever is gone, and he was eating a bit before you got back."
Avalon nodded slightly, relieved that London was able to get the medicine back to shale and it actually worked. She glanced over st London to check on him.
"So what happened last night?" Olivia looked over to Avalon. "After you two split up, what happened after that?" She needed to know all she could to figure out a plan to best prepare and protect the people here. London flinched inwardly, knowing she would be talking to him next. He knew it was important but he still didn't like talking about it.
“London told me to run. I did. I got far enough away to be out of sight then I shot at some of the Group. They must’ve heard me or followed me. They chased me for a while. I shot a couple of them... then I lost them and hid..”
"You did good then." She nodded her head, giving her a slight smile before looking over to London. "I need you to tell me all about there movements, about there leader." She crossed her arms. "Anything you can." London took in a deep breath, taking a moment before he started.
"They only move at night." He said quietly. "They only went after her, because she was with me. "Since she lost them they will be on the move again tonight." He paused for a moment. "As for the leader....his name is...Bram. "He's ruthless and he doesn't give up easy."

Avalon listened closely to them as Olivia began asking questions and London’s answers, explaining everything he could. She bit her lip lightly and took her backpack off before slumping against the wall tiredly.
Olivia nodded going through this in her head, before she looked over to Avalon.
"Avalon, go get whatever wounds you have looked at." She told her. "For now I will come up with a plan to protect against these people."
"Avalon, go get whatever wounds you have looked at." She told her. "For now I will come up with a plan to protect against these people."
“You need Avature to help with your planning. I’m not hurt that bad. I’m gonna go get this stuff labeled and put away. I got a lot.” She said, picking up her backpack.
"Go then." She nodded her head, she hadn't planned on leaving him out of the planning. He was her right hand after all.
"I...can help you." London offered, looking over to Avalon. Wanting to be away from this situation for now.
"I...can help you." London offered, looking over to Avalon. Wanting to be away from this situation for now.
Avalon nodded. “Okay.” She picked up Her bag and left the room to head down to the storage room where they kept everything. The back of her shirt was covered with a decent amount of dried blood but she didn’t complain.
"Are you alright?" London asked as he caught up to her side, having seen the blood on the back of her shirt. It only made him even more worried about all of this, but was going to try and keep himself calm. She was back here after all.
“I’m fine..” Avalon assured. Her back hurt but she kept quiet. She set her backpack down on a table and opened it up.
"Are you sure..." He asked softly. "I mean...." He shook his head. "Avalon, I'm sorry but that's a lot of blood...." He came around the table to look at her.
“I’m conscious so that counts as fine enough..” avalon reasoned softly. She started taking stuff out of her bag, organizing it on the table.
He guessed she was sort of right, even though he was still worried about her. He shook it off and just focused on helping her with everything they had grabbed the night before.
Avalon shrugged. “It won’t kill me..” she mumbled faintly. She found some old containers and brought them over so the medicine could stay sorted.
He didn't comment, he only started helping sort and label everything. Putting everything in the proper place. There stock of medicine was better now then it had been before, if anything he was glad for that part at least.
Avalon worked quietly. She bit her lip lightly and didn’t say much of anything. Once they were finished, she grabbed some antiseptic and bandages to take care of her back.
London made sure everything was organized again, just trying to keep his mind occupied. Until there was no more to do, he turned and looked back at her.
"Uh...need some help?" He asked softly.
"Uh...need some help?" He asked softly.
"Here." He reached over and gently took the antiseptic and bandages from her. "It's the least I can do..." He managed a ghost of a smile.
“You’ve done a lot..” Avalon commented faintly. She turned her back to him and pulled off her shirt so he could look at the deep wound on her shoulder blade.
He gritted his teeth as he saw the wound, glad she was facing away from him as he quickly tried to keep his face straight. Now he really wanted to make them pay for this.
"You might need some stitches..." He said as he took the antiseptic and gently started to put it on the wound.
"You might need some stitches..." He said as he took the antiseptic and gently started to put it on the wound.
“I figured. It did bleed a lot.” She Mumbled, her breath hitching at the sudden sting of the antiseptic. Avalon squeezed her eyes shut and tried to stay still.
He finished up putting it on and set the tube to the side.
"I can stitch it up for you." He told her. "If you don't mind, or I can just bandage it for now."
"I can stitch it up for you." He told her. "If you don't mind, or I can just bandage it for now."
“Whatever works for you. I’m okay with whatever..” she said faintly, shrugging at him. Avalon glanced over her shoulder at him.
He thought for a moment before going over and grabbing what he needed to stitch her up. It was to deep for him not to.
"Alright, try and sit still." He said focusing on only this now.
"Alright, try and sit still." He said focusing on only this now.

"We came to look for you." He said softly. "When you didn't come back last night we got worried." He pulled back after a second and looked her over. "Are you okay?"
