"Of course I have your back." He nodded, now looking back to her, smiling a bit at her. He wouldn't fail her like he did with Shale. He shook that off and slowed a bit as he was right next to her. "You're right, together we can do this."

Avalon nodded slightly. “Yeah. We got this..” she smiled gently at him. She kept walking with him, moving quick. She wanted fo hurry and get there, unsure how long shale could last.
It seemed like a long time until he finally saw the city and the wall around the compound. His eyes slightly narrowing as he saw it, knowing what it meant. But they were only here for one thing, they couldn't risk stopping for anything else.
“Alright. Let’s find a place to hide out for a few. Make sure we’re ready. And we should check what Olivia sent with us. Unless she already told you about it..”
He glanced down at the bag, having forgotten about it until now.
"Lets find a place first." He said glancing around. "Then we see what's in the bag."
"Lets find a place first." He said glancing around. "Then we see what's in the bag."
Avalon nodded. She pointed out a few buildings that looked abandoned. “We should probably not take everything with us too. Just weapons and essentials.” She said faintly
"Lets leave our bags here then." He nodded, kneeling down and plucking his water bottle and machete from his bag. Putting the machete into his belt, and the bag Olivia had given him over his shoulder.
Avalon nodded. She got her water and her set of throwing knifes out. She tucked a few into her pockets, leaving them sheathed. She added two more to her belt. She set her bag down with his.
"Let go." He said heading for the nearest abandoned building. Nearest to the compound he knew they would have to be extra careful, more Zombies would be around then out by there place. They would have to come up with a solid plan.
Avalon nodded. She followed after him. She kept close watch around them, wanting them to stay safe..0
He pulled his machete from his belt as they got up to the building, glancing around as he pushed the door open carefully so it wouldn't make any noise. Thankfully he didn't hear anything inside either.
Avalon kept her crossbow ready and aimed st the ground in front of her. She watched around them and followed him into the empty building. “Hopefully it’s not a light triggered bomb..” she mumbled faintly.
Would she give them a bomb, he thought to himself as they got inside he took in a breath and knelt down once he was sure they were safe.
"Lets just see then..." he said quietly. Putting the bag down in front of him and unzipping it.

Avalon crouched down beside him, staying back a little bit. She set her bow down beside her, not needing st the moment since they were alone. She glanced in the bag once he’d opened it.
He peaked inside and shook his head, laughing softly once he saw it.
"Ever seen one of these?" He asked her as he pulled the round device out of the bag. "It's an EMP, a powerful one at that... "We throw this down and everything that runs on electricity within that place will go down." He looked over to her. "That whole place is powered by a giant generator."

Avalon shook her head slightly st the question. She glanced over the device curiously. “That’s great. But how long will it keep stuff down? Or will it just knock it out and they just have to turn stuff back on?” She asked softly, already starting to work out a plan.
"We'll have to time it perfectly." He explained. "Once we set it off we'll have 15 minutes maybe a bit less before they can turn it back on again." He took in a deep breath. "It's not a lot, but it'll give us a good window to get in and find what we need."
Avalon nodded. “That’s not a lot. But we can try. What we need will probably be in the medical buildings or hospital. That’s close to their perimeters..” she said quietly, trying to figure out a plan. She didn’t want to split up but if they did, they could cover lots more ground.
He thought for a moment, before he spoke again.
"If we sneak in first, and set it off once we get to the medical building it will give us a lot more time." He knew it would be dangerous, but it would be easier to sneak in then sneak out. And this would give them an easier exit.

Avalon nodded. “But there’s no real good way in without setting off alarms..” she commented faintly. “Which means we either have to kill any guards and move quick or convince them somehow..” she thought aloud, trying to make a better plan.
He knew of only one way to do it, even though he knew it would be dangerous.
"They'll definitely have some on the front...I could distract them while you try and get in behind them..." He said thoughtfully. "Once I have there attention, you can strike. "We get in passed them and we get where we need to go."

Avalon bit her lip. “What’ll prevent them from killing you as soon as it goes off? As a distraction, It’d be easy to blame and kill you as an easy cop out..” she commented faintly, glancing st him. She didn’t want to waste any more time but there was no guarantee that his distraction would work well enough to get in and set it off. But she couldn’t come up with a better option.
"I'll be fine." He promised, giving her a small reassuring smile. "Don't worry about me. "It'll work." He took in a deep breath and stood up. "Come on, we haven't got any more time to waste." He handed her the device.
Avalon nodded and stood. She took the device for him. “How do I set it off?” She said, looking over it carefully.
"Press the button on top." He told pointed to it. "Once you activate it, it'll take a few seconds before it warms up. "Just be ready once it does. "There will be a blue flash, and then everything will go down."
Avalon nodded slightly. “A set it down and run thing or can I hold onto it?” She questioned. “And it’ll only work once. Right?” She asked to make sure as they got ready to go. She had never seen or used the EMP or anything similar to it before so she wanted to know what was going on and what to do.
"You should set it down in a good place." He told her. "And yes only once." He nodded his head. They had only one shot to get in and do this, but he would have there attention on him. Which made him feel a bit better about her going in like this.
Avalon nodded. “And then I’ll see you after. Imma go for the hospital as soon as it goes off and everything goes out.. we don’t have much time.. you take some of the medical buildings?” She suggested softly as they got ready to go.
"Got it." He nodded and made sure he had everything. "If we don't find each other inside, we meet back up here." He hoped he would meet up with her inside, but there was a possibility they wouldn't be able to.
He took a moment before he followed her, steadying himself before he walked outside. Making sure his weapon was where he could reach it.
"Avalon." He gently took her hand. "Be safe okay."
"Avalon." He gently took her hand. "Be safe okay."
Avalon adjusted how she held the EMP, shifting and tucking it in her bag so it wouldn’t be obviously out in her hands while she snuck in. She glanced at London when he took her hand. “Same to you London. Your sister just got you back. She can’t lose you now.” She said softly.
"Yeah." He smiled slight, letting go of her hand. "I'll get you back to you're brother. "I'll get us both back safe. "See you then." He took in a breath and just started toward it.
Avalon nodded. She headed off down a different street so she could get around the guards a bit easier and not be seen. She did her best to avoid being noticed as she got closer.
He felt his nervousness rising inside of him as he got closer, but he calmed himself as best he could. He could already see the guards, two of them blocking the entrance. He got a bit closer, seeing them both look as he did. It was now or never.
"Hey guys." He called waving his arm a bit. "I really need some help.."
"Hey guys." He called waving his arm a bit. "I really need some help.."
Avalon watched from just out of sight, silently willing the guards to just move a bit and head towards London. She was small so she could quickly slip past and get inside without too much issue hopefully.
London stayed a bit away, hoping they would come after him so she could get in. So he got a bit louder.
"Come on guys!" He yelled. "I just need some food or something."
"Put your hands up!" One called, both of them slowly moving toward him, point there guns at him.

Avalon leveled her crossbow at them. She didn’t want to shoot but if they fired at him, she’d shoot them back. She watched warily, biting her lip. “Just go help him...” she mumbled under her breath, creeping a bit closer.
"Fine." He put his hands up, shaking his head as if he were annoyed, watching as they came just a few inches from him.
"This area is restricted." The guard said to him. "Turn around and leave." London saw her from the corner of his eye, but focused on the two in front of him.
"You don't understand." He pretended to plead with them. "You have to give me something..."

Avalon kept her movements a bit slow, knowing the guards’ eyes’ would be drawn to any sudden movement or noise. But she was able to slip behind them and get through the gate quietly. She quickly headed deeper inside, ducking out of sight of the gate. She located where the hospital was and found a good empty crossroad to set off the EMP so it wouldn’t be blocked immediately by buildings, thinking that would lessen its effectiveness. Avalon quickly took the EMP out and set it down. She pushed the button on the top before walking away to the hospital quickly.
London kept them busy, though it finally got to the point where they were starting to get pretty angry. One of them pointing his gun right in his face.
"Leave now, or we will have no choice but to take you in." The guard threatened. London took in a deep breath about to say something when he heard the crackle of it going off, and then the sound of the generator shutting down. Both of the guards turned to look, there guns lowering slightly. He pulled his machete out of his belt slowly as they were looking away not wasting time as he quickly took them down.

Avalon ran quickly to the hospital, staying close to the walls to make her a harder target to shoot if they saw her. She didn’t want to kill anyone if she didn’t have to, hating the idea of it. A few people quickly came out of the hospital to see what was going on but most in the hospital stayed there, working to help people still and keep them alive since a lot of machines quit. She slipped into the hospital quietly.
London carefully slipped inside, one of the guards had managed to get a good hit on him before he took them down. Pulling a knife on him and nicking his shoulder good. But he didn't have time to worry about that right now though it did hurt he knew he had to focus on getting to the medical building while the power was still down.
Avalon moved quickly through the chaotic hospital, keeping her crossbow close to her to hide it. She watched an employee force open a door that looked like it led to a medical supply closet. Inside there were a few multidrawered cabinets with lit up screens on the top, one of the few things powered by batteries. She followed them into the room and shut the door behind them, leveling her bow at them and watching them sign in.
London found the medical building, having to sneak around people that were frantically trying to figure out what was going on. Keeping his machete in his hand as he sneaked his way inside, passed a few doctors who actually looked more like scientists. But he didn't dwell on that, walking until he found a supply closet.
Avalon watched as the person signed in and clicked some options on the screens, seeing the warnings associated with some medications popping up, including one that said “GIVE ONLY TO THOSE WHO’VE POSSIBLY BEEN INFECTED.” She stayed silent and came up behind the person, lowering her bow and instead pressing a knife against the small of her back. “You’re gonna open all those drawers. Now..” she threatened lowly, pushing the knife till it broke the skin.
What he was looking for definitely wasn't in the one he checked, but he did find other medicines. Ones that were hard to find, though he knew it was a risk, he also knew they definitely needed these too. He pressed his lips together and quickly grabbed a few bottles of antibiotics and a few others, putting them into his pockets and silently running out to search some more.
The person clammed up and tried to fight but Avalon grabbed them and held tight. “You’ve got two options. Give me all the meds and I’ll let you live or don’t and I’ll get them myself while you bleed out on the floor..” she said lowly, her voice cold and emotionless. The person tried to fight and protest which just led to Avalon pressing the knife a bit further. They cried out in pain and reached to the screen, telling Avalon what to press to get what.
It took him a bit before he managed to get to the one she was in. By that time the lights flickered quickly back on, the sound of the generator coming back on. London gritted his teeth and sprinted in his side, glad when he saw her there.
"We have to hurry." He told her quietly, going over to her side.
"We have to hurry." He told her quietly, going over to her side.
Avalon had cleared out as much as she could from the pockets labeled with a possible cure along with s bunch of other medicines including anti biopics. She’d stuffed them in her bag, the person passed out on the ground by her. She heard the generator and swore. “Lead the way.” She said, quickly closing the bag.
