Joe I'm of the opinion that less is more. I like to lead the reader right up to a point and drop them so that they fill in the blanks. The sex act can only be described so many ways, but foreplay can be unlimited and go as far as you want it to.

Chris (flahorrorwriter) Well, I tend to agree with J, I think every reader of erotica has their own tastes. For me, I like it to be direct and to the point. Let's face it...most want to read (and envision) in their minds, the act of sex. The build-up (foreplay) is crucial, to a degree, and can be used to develop a scene and make the reader enjoy it all the more. Much like the act itself, ironically enough.

Chris (flahorrorwriter) And I like graphic description. I think most readers of erotica appreciate the pornographic nature of it...even if that word tends to have negative connotattions attached. I can't speak for everyone of course...

But I do hate ridiculous slang terms attached to body parts.
