With so much theatre going on during the summer, I'm curious what was your favorite production was you saw this summer?

I saw some great shows this summer but the one that really knocked my socks off was RETURN TO FORBIDDEN PLANET . It was fun, campy and never took itself too seriously. The audience went crazy over it.

I love Phantom.

Brian (bdwilfong) | 11 comments I go to the Stratford Festival in Ontario Canada every year. This year I saw 11 plays. Highlights: a wonderful ROCKY HORROR SHOW (I thought I would hate it, loved it!), a excellent CORIOLANUS, a delightful A COMEDY OF ERRORS, and an excellent new world premiere of a play basked on Milton's poem, PARADISE LOST. This last has been published and is worth a read. The playwright is Erin Shields.

What did you think of Love Never Dies?

Shawn Deal | 14 comments This particular production was absolutely wonderful. I actually enjoyed it more than phantom, and phantom is my absolute favorite. I’v seen Phantom some 20 times. Love never dies is some of Andrew lloyd webber’s Best music. There are some absolute fantastic songs in this musical. The sets were fun and dynamic. The revolving sets were a real asset for the show, making it so fluid, helping to tie the scenes together. I thought the story was represented wonderfully, better than the novel it is based on. This was one of the best overall musical productions I have ever seen.

《Maram》 I love theater and acting but I live in Qatar so there is nearly any theatrical productions. It's so annoying.

Sketchbook "The Little Hut," comedy by Andre Roussin, adapted by the marvelous Nancy Mitford.

Paul | 11 comments Probably "Redemption" at the Perchance to Dream Festival in Manhattan (Off Off Broadway) . . . of course, I wrote it, so I'm going to be a little biased.

Paul | 11 comments Thanks. The "Broadway" is doubly negated, but I still get to say it.
