Done! It looks pretty cozy to me -- and as of 4 sept.it has the genre on its GR homepage.

Hi Alycia,
I asked a moderator about this, and Sandy wrote (in the Genre Verification thread) the following:
"I don’t see the problem. Children’s or kids is not a MPG, at least now, so I don’t know why this would be disallowed."
So it looks like you are good to go.

Thanks,
Laura"
Though Agatha Christie is largely defined as, if not the creator, the definer of cozy mysteries, the edition you link to does not have "Cozy Mystery" listed on its main page. So according to SRC rules, I cannot endorse it as such.
I think the definition has undergone some changes. Poirot mysteries, for instance, would not qualify as he is a professional detective, not an amateur. Miss Marple mysteries would still qualify, if only readers would list it as such -- but because these are classics, many readers do not think to list Marples as "cozies."

Confirmed! Hope you had a great vacation!

This is a two book task. Read a book from two different options from these which relate to some seasonal indoor and outdoor recreations and issues.
Required: State which options you chose when you post.
Option A. SWIMMING -- My favorite sport is swimming, indoor or outdoor, though mostly I swim in controlled indoor environments, which means I will be able to do it well into the autumn and even winter. My favorite book about swimming is the autobiography of Olympic swimmer Mark Tewksbury.
Read any biography or autobiography of an athlete or team who competed in the Olympic Games.
OR
Read a book from the following listopia: The Olympic Games
(FYI -- Inside Out: Straight Talk from a Gay Jock by Mark Tewksbury is # 33 on this list.)
Required:: If using the Listopia option, state which page your book can be found on when you post.
Option B. GOLD MEDAL. – To commemorate Tewksbury’s winning the gold medal in the 100-metre backstroke in the 1992 Olympics, read a book first published in 1992.
Option C. REWARDS -- After a leisurely swim, I like to remember the Rewards of the Outdoors, even though I do not get to do a lot of mountain climbing or hiking anymore -- Read a book from this listopia devoted to the Banff Mountain Book Festival Awards: Banff Mountain Book Festival Award Winners
Required: State the page your book can be found on when you post.
Option D. DANGER -- The Dangers of the Outdoors! – The world has been plagued with fire in the outdoors this summer and probably will be into the fall. Read a book that has the word “FIRE” or the word “SMOKE” intact in the title/subtitle or series title. It may be a part of a larger word such as “Firestarter” or “Smoker.”
Option E. COZY -- Go back indoors where it is cozy and read a book with the main page GR genre of “Cozy Mystery.” (It has to be “Cozy Mystery” and not simply “Mystery,” but it can be embedded, as “Cozy Mystery” oftentimes is.)
