And each day I try to rise to the challenge of finding the original artwork ;-)

You see, I have my uses :-)
Because even I was losing the plot about what episodes I had written and where, I've now collected the stories together and sequentially numbered them. If you haven't caught up with the story so far, now might be a good time to do so ;-)https://www.abctales.com/blog/philwhi...
Today's episode, in which Gwladys hankers after a night on the town and Aefelthrith gets a shock!https://www.abctales.com/story/philwh...
You know that sinking feeling when you see someone you never thought you would see again? Well, that!https://www.abctales.com/story/philwh...
Episode 12 - in which Aefelthrith draws blood and Gwladys packs her bags!https://www.abctales.com/story/philwh...
Jim wrote: "I look forward to it :-)"Kind of you to say so :-) It might go on a bit longer, actually. I've had a plea from my reader ;-)
Episode 13 - in which Gwladys tries to break away and Aefelthrith falls for another!https://www.abctales.com/story/philwh...

Oh bunnies! Try this:

I figured out what happened! In the interim I had made a slight change to the title, which, naturally, made a kibosh of the html link I had previously used. Oh well!
Hopefully I've got the link right first time, this time! This is Episode 14 - in which Gwladys gets to grips and the penny drops for Aefelthrith

In which the Parson stops the Watch and Dolly hands it to Aefelthrith!https://www.abctales.com/story/philwh...

Well done for finding it, Jim! I messed with the title again :-(
The next episode, in which Aefelthrith has a troubled night and everyone has a troubled day!https://www.abctales.com/story/philwh...
Jim wrote: "going well :-)"Thanks Jim. If I knew what I was doing I could be positively dangerous! ;-)
Do you know, every time I sit down to write one of these, I think it's certainly going to be the last one! So far, it never has been!https://www.abctales.com/story/philwh...
Jim wrote: "Nice one :-)How many words so far?"
Thanks Jim. Good question! At a rough estimate, I would say between 18k and 20k.
Not a long way from a novella, and at 30k it becomes economic to put it in an Amazon paperback and charge £4.50 :-)

And at 20k it fits nicely as a 99p ebook novella :-)I'd go for 30k plus :-)
It's nicely character driven and fun

You're very kind, Jim. I'll see what I can do ;-)
The next episode, in which Dolly asks some questions and the 'Parson' thinks he has an answer!https://www.abctales.com/story/philwh...

FYI Jim, the running total (now that I've actually sat down and totted it up) is 24,239 :-)
You are certainly getting there, A nice complicated conclusion in the Inn beckons, Strikes me that with a busy inn on a road junction, it could be amazing just who passes through and who recognises who. I'd be tempted to have a son of Gwladys whose's done well for himself appear looking for his old mum, and falling for Aefelthrith
But there are so many ways these characters could drive it :-)

Thanks Jim. I thought it worked out quite well, given that its subject matter is a tad on the sensitive and potentially controversial side :-)
