Amanda Colunga | 3 comments I don't remember much about it. It was large and about 3 inches thick. I think it dates to around the 90's. It had a lot of myths in it and full page color pictures. The pages were glossy. The cover, like I mentioned, was blue and felt like leather. Inset in the front was a picture of a pegasus, but it was much smaller than the cover, maybe a quarter of the size.

I read mine to shreds and I wanted to buy one for my niece.

Were the myths from a particular region in the world? For example: only Greek mythology?

Oh, sorry, they were Greek and Roman myths. I feel like the print was on the big side so it might have been for kids or teens?

Is it possibly this one? I read something similar to it but cannot remember if this edition had pictures or not. It is in hardback which might be the copy?

I googled some on this, but I don't think it's this one. It was big too. I'm trying to think if it was gilt edged but I can't remember.

Aerulan | 1264 comments You might check out the Time-Life books they did themed series on all sorts of things.
Gods and Goddesses looked closest in a cursory skim of the list but they had a whole series on myths called
The Enchanted World and they did the sort of covers you describe. If you don't see it in that series it might be worth checking the rest of them.
