He probably has a history of sexual assault he has been able to keep on the dl with his dad being a judge and having a good reputation. I also feel like the book is leading up to a character like that, who is like a foil of the royals, good on the outside bad on the inside. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ So, my current theory about the murder of Brooke is that Steve did it. He’s a super douche towards Dinah, and thinks she tried to have him killed. And Dinah and Brooke look a lot alike from behind, it was in their penthouse. So, my theory is, Steve came home after having been dead for nine months, sees a woman who he thinks is Dinah and murders her (to return the favor, I guess) only to find out that it’s Brooke.
