What country were you in at the time?

Kate, please note that you can bump your thread every 30 days, because the group is so large.

Rainbowheart | 21141 comments I'm guessing this book or story must have been from England.

If it helps any American readers, it seems like fruit pastilles are similar to gumdrops or gummy bear candies and an aero bar is a chocolate candy bar.

Just add a comment to the thread, like "Still looking...". If you remember anything else about the book, like another bit of plot, or what the cover was like, or since you listened to it, what the narrator was like, you can add that.

Kate ~~
You can bump your thread to the top of the folder by typing anything in the comment box at the end of your thread. That automatically "bumps" it.

You can "bump" your thread every month or so. This pushes your thread back to the top of the folder instead of languishing here on page 37 where fewer eyes will see it.00
Good luck!

If you remember any new details, you can type in those anytime. You don't need to wait 30 days.

Original poster (OP) left Goodreads. Moving request to the "Now we'll never know" folder.
