Discussion Questions:

In her introduction, Meg Riley writes that when she solicited stories for this anthology she asked, “How did Unitarian Universalism transform you? Heal you? Change you? Help you?” How would you answer these questions?

Which of the essays spoke most to you? Why?

What recurring themes did you notice throughout Testimony? Did any surprise you?

Alex Fernandez | 1 comments As I was reading “Heart’s Opening” by Scott Sammler-Michael... I was surprised how much I could relate with a white straight man... and I just loved and am caring in my heart his sentence “We love ourselves by loving each other by loving ourselves by loving each other - and by doing so we imitate the divine, that creative power of the universe and of human culture, the only way we can: with our whole beings.”
