This book is not what I had expected! It wasn't something I would finish due to the characters in the story. I believe some people would love them but I just don't want to know them anymore... Everyone has their own ways to love and I respect them. Maybe is because I am never the lucky one to be loved, so I guess I was jealous for their relationships, especially when I read the parts about Alex and Hank. I was screaming, laughing and thinking "How long are they going to play this thing? Don't you know you two had already loved each other in the first chapter?" And I don't know much about the dating culture, in Taiwan, we have dates after having girlfriends/ boyfriends. I really don't understand why Rea and Noah make their relationship so complicated? So emphasize about the titles! One thing that I really love was the writing style. I felt like I was in the story! Though I said so many things I don't like about the story, still I'm looking forward to the second book. I wish there would be more people coming up^^

I guess I really like this book because it is lighter on the romance and just more about the characters and the community.
I liked the arson story. That brought some excitement into it. I really liked how Tyler rescued Hank's niece and how that played out with the trooper and Kate. Tyler and Kate's relationship is continued more in book three.
Reagan and Noah's relationship is complicated isn't it! There isn't much about them in the second book, but a bit more develops for them in the third book. I'm still wondering more about Reagan's back story. Maybe she has something in her past that makes it difficult for her to let anyone get close. Hopefully we will find that out in other books.
There are lots more characters who we learn more about in future books. In this book Hank briefly mentions his sister who went to law school. She is the main character in the next book. There is also a mention of a girl who works at the post office who does the crossword puzzles in people's magazines. She is one of the main characters in book three. I'm going to reread books 2 and 3 with you and then continue on. I hope you will stick with me, but if you still don't like book 2 then I will understand. I wouldn't want you to spend time reading books that you don't enjoy.
