Spreadsheet Link
(Your ss was made for your convenience and teamwork. If you choose not to use it or prefer to make your own, that is your teams choice. This spreadsheet will not be updated by a mod it is strictly for team member use only. Please let Felicia know if you have any questions, but this should be self explanatory.)

For this challenge, we will be picking one overall winner to pick a book from the prize lists (chosen at random for fairness)! At the end of our Vacation Quarterly Challenge there will be one winner that wins a prize of getting to choose a book from bookdepository.com. They can pick any book up to $10. For this to happen, we will be combining the points from the two month Pageopoly challenge, this Disney challenge, and our Vacation Quarterly together to pick that winner.

I have edited all team spreadsheets to have the new members (if you have had someone new added) in there. If and when new members are added to a team they can go into their teams SS and use the instructions to add their name to their teams SS. :D

HELLO EVERYONE! We, the mods, wanted to let you know some things for this upcoming challenge “point-wise”. So, for graphic novels they will ONLY count for 1/4 page points. Doesn’t matter what character you are on, they will just be page points. Screenplays or verses will count for 1/2 the page points. Then we wanted to be nice and creative because we think if you can find a retelling that fits the character that you are reading for - well, you get an extra point! If you have any questions about the upcoming challenge please go to our Q&A thread and a mod will answer your question in a timely manner 😊

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

:D Oh shoot! Retellings = an extra point, noice! Thanks for the update!

message 17: by Madison (new)

message 21: by Caroline (new)

Caroline | 2101 comments Awesome, I'm so excited! What does everyone plan to read? I'm about to start Steelheart (The Reckoners, #1) by Brandon Sanderson , which would count for Hercules - character has super powers, and Crazy Rich Asians (Crazy Rich Asians, #1) by Kevin Kwan , which would count for Aladdin - involves traveling. I added them to the spreadsheet - do we want to use it?

message 22: by Madison (new)

Madison | 127 comments I have a Hercules theme, published in 2007 working on it now

message 23: by Madison (new)

Madison | 127 comments Well it could be for two Hercules themes since it’s a Percy Jackson book 😂

message 24: by Valentina (new)

Valentina Morgana la fata | 74 comments Trigger Warning Short Fictions and Disturbances by Neil Gaiman I'm reading this right now, but I can't put it in a category, it's a collection of short stories.

Alaina (ameserole) | 63569 comments Mod
Hello Little Mermaid team!

We, the mods, realized that the point system was different on the team's SS than it was on our actually sign-up thread. So if possible, please change the page point system (on the first tab of the SS) to the following:

PAGE POINTS:
100 - 149 -> 1 pts
150 - 249 -> 2 pts
250 - 349 -> 3 pts
350 - 449 -> 4 pts
450 - 549 -> 5 pts
550+ -> 6 pts

Please and thank you!

On each review thread, Felicia posted what the review posts should look like.

message 31: by Caroline (new)

Caroline | 2101 comments Next up I am going to read The Dragon Keeper (Rain Wild Chronicles, #1) by Robin Hobb for Hercules: Author's initials in Hercules.

Madison | 127 comments So I was reading A Rose For Emily but it is only 36 pages. This can’t count correct? (I would have put it towards Aladdin more than three

No, it wouldn't unfortunately. Books must be at least 100 pages to count towards a category.

Adding Lexi to your team ☺️

message 39: by Lexi (last edited Sep 12, 2018 06:54PM) (new)

Lexi I have been added and am trying to figure out where I will be needed. I read a book every 1-2 days. I have read ten books so far in September.

message 40: by Madison (new)

Madison | 127 comments Welcome! Looks like Hercules is done, got two on snowhite and two on Aladdin if you want to pick from one of those

message 41: by Lexi (new)

Lexi I just added three. I finished off Snow White and added one to Aladdin. Was this functioning as a three person team before I came?

message 42: by Lexi (new)

Lexi Also, I have read a few that works on other categories so I can add them if they show up for the next characters as I read on someone else's thread that we can use banked books.

message 43: by Caroline (new)

Caroline | 2101 comments Nice, welcome Lexi! You read faster than me, it usually takes me several days to finish something. :) And yeah, there are a lot of people who checked in but then haven’t said much since. I’m not sure if they’re planning to start later.

message 44: by Madison (new)

Madison | 127 comments Not sure, really just between Caroline and I

message 45: by Lexi (new)

Lexi Madison wrote: "Not sure, really just between Caroline and I"

If it has only been the two of you, I have one that works for undercover to replace Rachel's.

I'm fine with you replacing the book, as long as it is done before her's. Not sure how anyone else would feel about it.

message 47: by Caroline (new)

Caroline | 2101 comments I am fine with replacing any that aren’t done yet if you are already finished. That way we can get a new character sooner, and try to use the in progress books for the new character once they are finished.

message 48: by Madison (new)

Madison | 127 comments I’m having trouble coming up with another Aladdin book

Don't forget y'all have 4 skips to use throughout the month! Just gotta agree as a team and then post on your review thread which character category you want to use a skip for. :D

Lexi Madison wrote: "I’m having trouble coming up with another Aladdin book"

I can read a djinn book now that it was said it was same as genie (The Djinn Falls in Love & Other Stories). Also, once either of you finish your book for Snow White or Hercules, we will get a new character.
