Sushicat | 805 comments I started this series at the wrong end, but this did not detract from the enjoyment. There was just enough backstory introduced unobtrusively in the course of the story not to spoil the anticipation of going back to read the earlier stories and yet to put the man into proper context. The story started out with seamingly unconnected events, twisted and turned until finally it all came together. Lots of references to Greek mythology, lovely puns to lighten up the reading on a less than palatable subject.

Nicole R (drnicoler) | 7784 comments Oooo, I do love references to greek mythology! And I love puns! But, I do not love series ...and, it causes me physical anxiety to not read a series in order (I am a bit obsessive about it).

Glad you enjoyed it though as it does sound intriguing!
