Glen Rogers and his brother called themselves Road Dogs was it because

A) They felt like stray dogs because they had no home.
B) They never stayed in one place always running around.
C) Their preferred method of travel was on a bus.
D) They had a lot of hook-ups (you know s e x) like dogs.

BZZZT!!

Which leaves C, their favorite method of travel was by bus, specifically the one with a long legged dog on the side. It was their favorite way because it was anonymous, you don't have to show ID to ride the bus.

John Eckberg (johneckberg) | 11 comments It's frightening, really, how they could commit a crime, roll out of town on a bus and never be heard from again in that community. Glen was a one-man crime wave when he came to town.

Fishface | 14159 comments Ah-so...

John Eckberg (johneckberg) | 11 comments And his method of preferred travel raises a question: why was he found with a pair of sneakers extra pair not what he was wearing. Blood stained too. He’d already dumped evidence in a roadside trash can but held onto these sneakers. Why?

message 11: by John (new) - added it

John Eckberg (johneckberg) | 11 comments And where are the sneakers now?

message 12: by Fishface (new)

Fishface | 14159 comments Well, you know how guys like these can be about keeping souvenirs...

message 13: by John (new) - added it

John Eckberg (johneckberg) | 11 comments Exactly but in Glen’s case, a souvineer of when? Where? Bundy??

message 14: by Fishface (new)

Fishface | 14159 comments Hmmm...

message 15: by John (new) - added it

John Eckberg (johneckberg) | 11 comments He dumped evidence along the way. He was fastidious in his own way when it came to evidence. Yet he drug a pair of extra shoes around with him cross country? Shoes that were bloodstained?

message 16: by Fishface (new)

Fishface | 14159 comments His favorite pair of bloodstained shoes, apparently. But if they're missing, are you sure they were bloodstained in the first place?

message 17: by John (new) - added it

John Eckberg (johneckberg) | 11 comments They were not “missing” per se but were not used in Tina Marie Cribbs trial because the blood on them did not match her blood. My guess is they are still with exhibits from that Florida trial

message 18: by Fishface (new)

Fishface | 14159 comments Ah. So still in an evidence locker somewhere, waiting to be matched to some unlucky crime victim. Unless it goes the way of Ottis Toole's car.
