Dax Mehta | 8 comments Hello every one!

I'm a first time author.
I'm a 47 year old ex-technology information security product builder, who has written a book set against the backdrop of the Indian startup and technology industry.

Looking for a review of my medical sci fi story...with crossed fingers!

https://www.amazon.in/Kama-Sutra-Clas...

Look Inside the book: https://www.amazon.in/Kama-Sutra-Clas...

Blurb 1:

It's the 2010s.

The Indian Internet industry is buzzing with activity and big money. Millions are being made. Overnight millionaires are the new normal.

In the midst of this, an entrepreneur is falsely accused of sexual harassment at a SaaS company in Gurgaon.

The die hard Dilli Wallah is forced to leave his job and the country...and travel to South America...

...where, based on an ancient science of healing, he sets up The Kama Sutra Class.

A story of deceit, love, aspirations, money and Karma!

Blurb 2:

“Arjun! This is Kukku Khanna...from 900Bombinator.”, Jhavi was standing behind me with a fair skinned young man who looked like an NRI.

An NRI is a Non Resident Indian i.e. typically some one who or their parents were born in India but emigrated to a more developed country like the US or UK. In the social structure of post Independent India, an NRI sits on a very high pedestal. Technically, even some one who went to Sri Lanka from India is an NRI but I have never, in my North Indian Punjabi life, heard any one refer to their Chacha, who lives in Colombo, as an NRI. In short, only countries like US, UK, Australia...count.

He had a stylish beard and silver ear studs. He wore a dark leather jacket with some kind of an intricate design. His jeans looked acid washed and very blue. Pointed leather shoes shone brightly underneath. He had a thick silver bracelet on the left and a Kada on his right hand. Two gold dog chains hung on his neck.

“Hi Arjun! Nice to meet you.”

I had the big urge to ask him about the name of their fund. Every one knew YCombinator or YC, which was like an icon of the industry. Every one knew 500Startups.

But 900Bombinator?! I had laughed when I had first heard the name.

900Bombinator? I wondered if any of their Limited Partners or LPs were World War II veterans.

Blurb 3:

“Dude, does it actually work like viagra?”

“Who’s your ex?”

“She’s co-founder of SoullyBot. It’s a chat bot startup based out of Sunnyvale, California.”

“OK.”, I nodded. I was mildly impressed. Even though Dick had not told me, her name.

“Silicon valley.”, He added.

Thank you!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, writing it.

Salut!

Swadesh Chakrabarty | 1 comments Hi friends,
I joined this group of creative writers only today. It will be my pleasure to share with you about the books written by you and about my books. I, as an author always enjoy sharing my creations with like minded authors and readers.
I take this opportunity to introduce my book on communication available at Amazon.in - "You Are Unknown: How to understand people through communication for success"
Available at: https://amzn.to/2Du8IDw

Communication plays vital role in our day to day life. Our relationships with people, our capacity to manage people around us depends upon how effective we are in our communication.
In spite of our long association with people we may fail to understand them, why? How we can avoid the misunderstandings while dealing with other people so that we may maintain a harmonious relationship with our family members, friends, colleagues and customers? I have put my efforts to unravel those secrets in my book.
I would love to have comments from those who read my book.

Tripti Dayal (triptidayal) | 5 comments The End of Beginnings

This is a debut book by my teenage son, Amritansh Dayal. It is a fantasy fiction about the life and strife after apocalypse. This is the first book of the New World Reapers series that he has planned.
I would be grateful for somebody to review his book. Is he really an author material? Should he go ahead with the rest of the series?
Thank you all in advance.

Tripti Dayal (triptidayal) | 5 comments Thank you Venkitesh for your kind offer.

It would be more convenient if you can order the paperback yourself from either notionpress, flipkart or amazon since couriering the author copy would be time-consuming and more expensive to me. I am ready to reimburse the cost of book to you.
