Min (unktehi) | 26 comments There is a set for the quartet but I didn't see it listed. While I was looking, I noticed that the numbering seems to be out of sequence on the series page (but not on the individual pages):

https://www.goodreads.com/series/2019...

You'll see that Fever is listed both as 1.5 and 2; Plains of Sand and Steel is both 2 and 3; and Forests of Silver and Secrets is both 3 and 4.

The new set is listed on Amazon: http://a.co/h00ajR2
I'm also not sure how to add it as I've never added a set before.

Would someone look this over and let me know if the series info needs to be fixed? I'd hate to change it and find out later that it was done that way deliberately. Also, can someone point me to how to add the set? I couldn't find it in the manual.

Thanks!

In short, series numbering differs on GR from retail outlets like Amazon. Follow the instructions in above link to make corrections and don't hesitate to post your questions here in case you have any :-)

Min (unktehi) | 26 comments I read over the series page but I'm not seeing why this series is out of alignment with the listed numbers elsewhere. I guess the bigger question is who/what is the authority for determining the series number? The author? The publisher?
And do we have a more detailed page on omnibus/collection/set protocols? What's listed on the series page is still not clear to me. Though I'm happy to leave those to others with more knowledge, I'd like to be able to fix things when I find errors.

Thanks, Michael, for the start!

Neither. Goodreads policy, as linked above. Specifically this part: https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/4...

Fever should be 1.5. Which makes the following books 2 and 3, not 3 and 4.

Min (unktehi) | 26 comments So Fever, because it is only 134 pages, is a novella and not a full book and that's why it's 1.5 instead of 2?
And if that's the case, should they be numbered that way both in the series order and the individual book numbering? How would the omnibus/set be listed since it has the three books and one novella?

I appreciate you explaining this to me. I don't typically make changes to series records so I'm trying to understand how these rules apply.

Correct.

Wouldn't 1-3 still apply? 1,1.5,2,3 could be used as well, if you are concerned about clarity.
