Linda C (libladynylindac) | 1154 comments Six boys from wealthy negligent and/or abusive families with a variety of psychological neuroses are sent to a summer camp to become "cowboys". They end up in a group nicknamed "The Bed-wetters" and have trouble doing all the activities. They perform a couple of outrageous incidents that get them more separated. Then they witness a brutal buffalo slaughter. After a night of nightmares they determine to do something about the shoot planned for the next day. Each is forced to confront his fears in order to do the task. Lots of symbolism.

Jgrace | 3112 comments I'm sure I haven't read this book. But the movie.... I think I may have seen it with my husband, when were were very, very young.

Where did you come across this one?
