Connecting a New Book to my Author Profile

Please forgive me if I am posting to the wrong place, I am trying to link my new book to my Author Profile but I may have complicated this by adding the book manually, I didn't see an easy way to search a book and then claim it as mine. I apologize if I've really made a scramble of it, is there any way to claim the book and tidy my Author profile or to direct me to the department that can do so? I'd be very grateful!

Book moved to your profile and merged with the blank edition, which will disappear shortly. (Book Issues would be the correct section, another time.)

The confusion stems from your profile having 2 extra spaces in the author name. As there are no other authors by that name, you could edit your profile name to have only the one normal space between your first and last names. If you have a problem changing it, please post again and I can ask staff to do it for you.

Thank you, I tried removing the space in my name but it brings up a note to say that only Librarians can change author data.
