Tick-tock the hands on the clock
Move with every breath
As a countdown until your day of death
Rickety-rock
The rocking chair moves forth
Back again and forward
Remain going toward
A life of little worth

Running out of time
A dollar less than a dime
A face twisted up more sour than a lime

Balled up fists
Taut little wrists
An urge you cannot resist

A fire steadily dying
All your lies you do not care about denying
But never trying to stop the crying
Of those that you have hurt who loved you

You have to reap what you are sowing
There is no snow where you are going
The dirt will be flowing
On your casket lid

They say goodbye -your kids
You wonder, will they ever forgive you for what you did
But like it always was it does not matter
Where the bad seeds go that you scatter
But on a ladder down to hell
You slid

Empress X (ladywhospeaksinpoetry) Rainbow (Ariel’s)

I watch the storm.
Not all hope is lost.
Soon will come a rainbow.
It will rid us all from bad decisions, choices, and thoughts.
It will come soon enough I can wait.
And when the storm passes,
I will sit patiently staring at the waves.

Empress X (ladywhospeaksinpoetry) One Mistake

She peacefully dances,
Her worries away.
With her snow white hair
Against the cold black night air.

But she must not make
One mistake.
It would make everything break.
Go tumbling down in front of her eyes.
Make her fall down the cliff she despised.
She has to do it right.

‘Cause if you trip on a little rock.
You break one thing.
It all comes falling.
Onto you breaking all your bones to pieces.

Creative Orange (Rumell Khan) (rkrespectedmember) Cry

lay in bed alone at night and wonder why I'm here.
I do so much for everyone
Why don't they show they care?
I met this girl who said she loved me

Empress X (ladywhospeaksinpoetry) Tick Tock

Tick tock,
Goes the little clock,
Making me tired and dead,
Soon I won’t see the sun,
A flame will be light I treasure,
I know that it’s small,
But better than no light at all,

Tick tock,
Goes the little clock
Storing all my thoughts.

Tick tock,
That little clock I want it to stop,
Ticking off the days,
And nights,
It wants me to die,
It stores my young self away.

Tick tock,
The little clock ticks my life away.
What, oh what a shame.
But I only have myself to blame.
For keeping that treacherous clock.

Amy (won't be online for a while. sorry to all the groups i'm in!) (mattbatt) | 93 comments Mod
That's one interesting thing about clocks

Empress X (ladywhospeaksinpoetry) Stars don’t shine bright enough

The only light she had were stars
The stars that fill up the black sky and form shapes and hopes.

But her stars only shone in the darkness of black.
