(( Ya.....at this point, she may be my character and William Kharo's, but I feel like there are a lot of factors of there fate out of our hands. It's weird having characters like that))
(( I hope. But I'm sure Louise will never allow Will back into the palace, no matter what. ))William had to swallow back the lump forming in his throat. He didn't want to do this, but he had no choice. Despite how horrible Louise was to him, he still loved her, even though he wanted nothing to do with her. And he knew it would give her great pleasure to see him in pain. So he would announce his crimes to his family on the very day of the ball, to make it clear to Louise she didn't have to hate him for something entirely selfish on her part anymore. William sacrificed enough for her, but he felt maybe this would cause her to stop wishing his death or exile. He was too softhearted, too hopeful. He had never been more wrong in his life. "And you are mine. Until later, my darling," he said to her, kissing her forehead once more, then her nose, then her lips. He tore himself away from her after taking a ring off his finger and sliding it onto her own, squeezing her hand. It was meant to be a promise. A sort of promise ring. Then he was out the door and out of her sight, probably forever, or maybe just until that one ball two days from then.
((A promise ring!! AWWWWWW :'( Too cute. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING!!!!!!!I might be getting one this December !!!! :D))
Her fell from her parted lips as he drew it away with him. William only left a cold wind and a warm ring behind for her to remember. She stood there in front of the closed door for an hour staring, not even thinking. Slowly little drips plopped onto the ground at her bare feet tickling her toes. The silent tears only filling her with more emotion than draining it away. That little ring barely fit without falling on her ring finger and there it would forever stay. The metal still lingered with the warmth that William left behind. The remembrance made her ache and a fresh gush of tears streamed down her face. An hour had past of her still crying leaving the streams crusted dry on her face. William was gone, and all Echo could feel was his absence and the growing distance between them. Surely she would see him again? But Echo was beginning to feel the hopelessness, she would never see her dear love again. Her black heart hardened in her chest closing off the world. With little feeling Echo walked slowly to her bed and lay down in the dark room. There she lay with a fierce beating heart drifting off to sleep.
(( Oh~! *submits to inner girlyness to fangirl for friend* I hope you do! I'm happy for you, love~! ))
((Thanks :) He told me he will give me a ring for when he goes on his mission to represent the promise that I will wait for him to come home. He didn't do much for my birthday this year but then he told me Christmas was going to be big, including a promise ring! I had totally forgot that we do that a lot here and was completely caught off guard. It also makes me happy that he has been thinking about it *Squeels*))
