Post suggestions for themes and genres here! It can be anything from romance to graphic novel. We will decide among the choices what we will pick for books.

Dystopian

Grace (thegoldfishwholived) Kassie said this in a different conversation but I’ll put it here because I think it was a good idea.
Retellings

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah! I saw that too. I think it's a great idea!

message 6: by Kassie (new)

Kassie Whoops. Guess I put it in the wrong place. Sorry about that! I personally love retellings (fairy tales are my favorite)
Or even origin story’s would be great.

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

It's okay! I'm kinda all over the place anyway....

message 8: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 114 comments I’m fine with whatever we choose but I think for once we should do a supper gushy cute romance the more predictable the better!

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol. Haven't read one of those in a while. Have you read the notbook?

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

Notebook

message 11: by Lexi (new)

Lexi | 114 comments No I just kinda read all that I could, I didn’t realize how good romances were until recently. I am now officially recommending as the September BOTM “The Notebook”

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Cool!

Gabrielle (gabbifife) I think the book Kill Me Softly by Sarah Cross would be a good choice for what you're looking for. It circles around a few fairytale retellings and has a lot of romance in it. There's a second book set in the same world that I haven't read yet, so maybe if someone is interested we could one or both of those together. (Even though I've already read the first one lol)

message 14: by Kassie (new)

Kassie Personally I’m really not a fan of romance (border line hate it) I would probably still read it at a hate read or something. Just putting in my two cents

message 15: by Grace (new)

Grace (thegoldfishwholived) Yeah I'm not a huge fan of romances but I'm not against books that have a little bit of romance

message 16: by Gabrielle (new)

Gabrielle (gabbifife) Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of romance either. I have to be in the middle to read it or I hate it lol. Maybe we should try a different book.

Lexi | 114 comments I haven’t read a dystopian in FOVEREVER. I do t like it that much but it could be interesting.
