Bookworm with Kids This is our discussion thread for our group read for August: Frog Music by Emma Donoghue.

Bookworm with Kids I am really enjoying this book but I am finding the switching around of time periods a little confusing.

Bookworm with Kids I finished the book last night. I really enjoyed it, it was a quick read. It's interesting that it's based on a true story. How has anyone else got on with it?

Barbara (bdegar) | 4626 comments I read it 3 years ago when it came out. I appreciate Donohue finding forgotten women's history, and developing novels around these women and time periods.

Colleen | 1205 comments I’ll be reading this next after I finish waking gods .

Marcia | 437 comments I've just started listening to this book and am liking it very much. The audio performance is very good. It's very interesting reading about the history at that time and the way women were treated. I also like the style. For me at times it is a bit graphic but on the whole it is not too bad.
