Missy | 948 comments I can't believe there's only one list with this trope. I'll have to rely on my own 'fake betrothal/marriage' shelf (which isn't that long either) for my nominations. lol

Edit: I found another list for HRs.

Thank you, Missy!

Actually, I included this list too. But for some reason it is not showing up in my comment. I must have missed some part of html.

Hi folks,

It came to my attention the book Loving a Lost Lord does not qualify as a group read due to it being too recently read in this group (less than two years ago). Apologies for not catching this sooner. My inclination is to just go with the second place finisher, but we could hold a vote between second and third place, which would be fine too. Any strong opinions?

message 16: by Missy (last edited Sep 01, 2018 03:06PM) (new)

Missy | 948 comments Oh, no. I forgot to vote!
But your idea is good, Joanna (even though I won't be joining the botm since I've already read the second place book).

message 17: by Mariana (new)

Mariana | 2257 comments I nominated the second and third place, so I'm good either way. :)

Jan (jan130) | 1852 comments Second place winner sounds fair to me, Joanna.

message 19: by Paige (new)

Paige | 14 comments I forgot to vote too. But I'm perfectly fine with the second place as well.

Your number one favorite HR?

Jan (jan130) | 1852 comments Goody. I haven't read the Perfect Rake so I will participate in this one.

Andrea AKA Catsos Person (catsosperson) | 1635 comments I bought a used copy after joining GR, but the kindle price is quite cheap.

Andrea AKA Catsos Person (catsosperson) | 1635 comments Just paid $2.99 for kindle ed of The Perfect Rake. Putting dead tree edition in the giveaway box.

message 26: by Jan (new)

Jan (jan130) | 1852 comments Yep it's a bargain 1.99AUD in Australia at the moment too! I see I bought it in May 2017 but somehow have never read it (it may have been a freebie then?). OK, now I HAVE to read it if it's been lingering forgotten on my kindle so long. LOL.

I also loved Romancing the Duke! Rated it 5 stars and added to my favorite shelf.

I definitely am looking forward to reading The Perfect Rake for the first time.
