I have read many different books on the Salem Witch Trials and this one is my favorite. Not only is the text itself perfectly balanced, but the illustrations are beyond gorgeous. This one does a good job of giving you the story and the characters without too much information, but with enough information to understand what really might have been going on. Out of all the books on the Trials I've read, this is the one I'd most recommend to anyone who wants a basic, yet still thorough, overview.

Good review. I haven't read a book about the Salem Witch Trials in quite a while but it always interested me. I'll have to look into this book.
