"Sun, Moon, Stars" hallucinogenic fugu delicacy

I read a book probably 10 years ago about a guy whose life starts falling apart after accidentally ordering Thai food with peanut oil in it when his child had a highly allergic friend over. Somehow he finds out about an illegal club that serves fugu/blowfish sushi with part of deadly toxin still in it which causes hallucinations. Thanks for your help!
