Tricia (tricialen) | 118 comments I am sure it was a Harlequin Romance...most probably a Special Edition from the 1980's.

I remember the heroine rocking her baby as she looks out the window at her farm. She is very sad because her baby is getting too big to nurse ...and she is losing the farm. It's going to be auctioned.

She is separated from her husband.. He is a total jerk! He went off and left her to find himself... he might be in the oil business. He is now very rich.

The heroine did call him for help but a woman answered his phone.

He comes back and wants to reconcile? But he has really hurt the heroine.

Does anyone remember this?

Tricia, I added a few details to the header/topic title. You can update it by clicking the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, click the "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)
