The nominations thread for the September and October Non-Fiction Read is now open, please suggest your book choices below.

Please remember that:
1. We do not allow self-promotion or self-published books.
2. All books need to be seconded by someone else in order to get to the voting stage and
3. Nominations must be readily available in as many formats as possible at a reasonable price.

This month the theme is BIOGRAPHY

This thread will remain open until 7th August and then will be closed for voting.

Andrea (tasseled) | 8 comments To warn people about Shirley Jackson: A Rather Haunted Life, I have to put it out there that if you haven't read the majority of Jackson's work, you might want to skip on this one. I tried reading it and had to put it aside because the biography spoils pretty much every twist and ending in her books.
