This topic was inspired by Tasha as she made me aware that book journaling is currently a popular activity of readers (through our discussion in Lavan's bookshelf).

At first, I was planning to purchase a journal and keep a handwritten record but after further thought I've decided to type and print what's important to me instead. It'll be easier to make changes that way, and I like distinguishing parts with bold, italics and underline features. One section will include favorite quotations of books I've read. The other will be a yearly log like this:

2018

2. Feb. 16-March 21: Cecilia, or Memoirs of an Heiress Fanny Burney—2450 pp.
3. Feb. 16-28: The War of the Worlds H.G. Wells—253 pp.
4. March 2-8: The Sound and the Fury William Faulkner—249 pp.

Laurie | 15 comments No book journal, but am so excited to log my reads on GoodReads site. It allows me to look back at what I read and enter books friends have read on to an active to-do list!
