Melissa | 139 comments Thank you!

I am going to see how it goes and up my goal for 2019 based on how many I read this year.

Anyone have a favorite of 2018 thus far to recommend?

Sandra Harris (sandra_chavez_harris) How did you like Manhattan Beach? I'm on the fence with that one

message 8: by Melissa (new)

Melissa | 139 comments Sandra, I didn’t love Manhattan Beach, but the story was compelling enough to keep my attention. She’s a good writer, but some of the plot lines were confusing. I also liked the strong female lead character.

Sandra Harris (sandra_chavez_harris) Thank you Melissa, I very much appreciate the feedback. I may just keep it on my list and pick it up only if I'm feeling particularly contemplative (and ensure that I pay close attention to the plot!)
