Mama Day: In Progress (No Spoilers)

I'm at the 10% mark in this book. I find the writing style to be a bit challenging. There are no chapter divisions in the book, and the story is told in first-person narration through different characters. Sometimes it takes awhile for me to figure out who is speaking when a paragraph changes. The story itself looks interesting, though.

Yeah, I started it last night. It doesn't appear to be an easy read, but it does look interesting.

I am loving this, but it’s so densely written I can only do about 20 or 30 pages at a time.

The author really makes the reader work to read this novel. I was more in the mood for something lighter when I started this, so that affected my enjoyment.
