Hi! I'm Marina from Central Italy. I'm 36 and work as a freelance translator (nope, not books, just technical stuff). I love a variety of genres but mystery was my first love. I've been lurking for a while, and I've finally decided to join just a few moments ago. I must confess I'm a bit intimidated by bigger groups, but I hope I'll be able to join in the discussions anyway :)

I've been to Italy several times. My parents were from Italy and I currently have relatives in Rome and Palermo.
Since you've professed a love for mysteries, it might be of interest to you that my mystery/thriller novel Contract Pending is also available on Amazon and elsewhere in Italian. You may want to give it a try!

I too write about Italy in my crime thrillers set in Rome, Sicily and Naples. Book 2 A COLD FLAME is just out in e-book.
Currently working on #3 but it's very hot here in Rome.
