Did anyone else feel like this book was really repetitive (as in reusing dialogue and descriptions over and over)? I also got major vibes from other works like I Robot, Terminator, Mad Max, Pinocchio, Anastasia, etc. to the point that this book stopped feeling unique?

I still liked the world building and the ending was good enough that I'll probably continue with the series, but I felt like Kristoff could have been a bit less blatant about his references.

What did everyone else rate this book? I ended up with 3 stars.

I gave it a 4 stars only thanks to the ending XD It was a shock!

It took me quite a while to read, I ended up slumping.

I quite liked all of the linking XD
