Thriller mystery read 2012/13 teachers wife goes missing

This book I know is nor no time for goodbyes by Linwood Barclay but there's one scene that is similar to the one I'm looking for

Sorry for some reason the other comment hasn't shown up anyway, what I remember about the book is that various women would go missing then murdered which. One was picked up by a couple in a van, it would sometimes switch to them in the book, the main characters wife is missing but I think he keeps getting emails. I think there is one point the main character realises the neighbours daughter is in trouble. I won't say any more as that would be plot spoiling, I need title and author as it's bugging me. It's not no time for goodbyes by Linwood Barclay or Harlan cobans hold tight, thanks
