Linda C (libladynylindac) | 1082 comments This is one of my most favorite cozy heroines in a long time. A woman who is damaged physically and mentally and working hard to keep it together. She is strong, intelligent and reserved. The mystery and solution are believable. The secondary characters are an interesting collection that I can see growing over time. Looking forward to more in this series.

Meli (melihooker) | 3225 comments I read the first three books in the Sookie Stackhouse / Trueblood series and loved it. That's the only Charlaine Harris I read, but I would like to check out more.

I'll put this on the long list.

Linda C (libladynylindac) | 1082 comments This is very different from Sookie - no paranormal elements.
I am not a fan of vampires and only read the first Sookie story.

I have read two of the Aurora Teagarden books (OK series) and have a few of the Harper Connolly series which I haven't read and which I think also has paranormal elements.

Others found Lily's story hard to get into but I really liked her.
