Announced at San Diego Comic Con, Joe Jusko will be creating brand new cover art for Edgar Rice Burroughs' entire catalog. They say it will be a two year project, starting with the Tarzan series, with books being released as the cover art is completed.
This is exciting for two reasons - 1, Jusko's ERB art is phenomenal (see Joe Jusko's Art of Edgar Rice Burroughs), and 2, it means that more than Burroughs' public domain titles will be back in print.
On Facebook it was mentioned that these 80 volumes are being released in hardcover, and that they are planning for the first 6 Tarzan books to be available at the same time. Also, the cover for "Tarzan of the Apes" has been finished and approved.
