Jena Gregoire (jenagregoire) | 41 comments Good afternoon! I have a client who just found out that the cover artist she commissioned to do one of her covers used a very famous image (without paying for the license) to create her cover. As soon as she found out, she got a new cover made but before we upload it as an alternate cover, is there any exception to the rule about replacing a cover when it's been brought to the author's attention that it infringes upon someone else's copyright? The image's copyright holder is a HUGE company and she's hoping to be able to just simply scrub the old cover from as many sites as possible. In this instance, is that something you guys will do or do we just create a new edition of the book? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks!!
