One of the best books I've read this year, there was something about this book I just loved. It was definitely slower paced than The Giver but I actually found it even more powerful. It explored the source of creativity, individuality and imagination, how it can flourish or not flourish depending on your surroundings and relationships and how people can manipulate and exploit your creativity for there own advantage. The writing had a wonderful, delightful nature as did the characters. Really glad a decided to finally read this.

I rated this one the highest rating of the three books, but not being a big fan of this series, it got 3 stars from me.

This one was my favorite of series that I've read so far (Really liked The Giver also), however I started the third book, Messenger today and I'm not liking it nearly as much.
