Sahreth Bowden (baphy1428) | 16 comments So a couple of years ago, I put my book up on Lulu and it was added to this site, but I never actually sold any prints before I put it in hibernation. It is entirely impossible to get a copy of this story. I've since made edits to the book, including updating the cover, and am about to bring it out of hibernation in the hopes of finally selling. I was reading different policy notes about changing/updating covers on here, but I'm having trouble understanding if I can ask a librarian to switch the cover and description to the new ones or if that's against ToS? (I have not yet publicly updated these things on Lulu)

Also, is there a way to archive old versions of a story if there aren't any copies circulation? Such as if you published a book that never sold and since it's unknown and unattainable, don't want it displayed? I'm not really too much concerned with the data being present, I just don't like it displaying on my lists of works since it's an old project that won't be revisited. Thanks!

Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition. See and

As the author, you will have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile. Here's how:

Goodreads does not delete out-of-print books or editions. (There is no such thing as "archiving" here.) Please see and
