Was the introduction of the Deathly Hallows the start of a wild goose chase, or did it ultimately help Harry in his quest to find and destroy the Horcruxes?
- Should Dumbledore have mentioned it earlier? Or not have mentioned it at all?
- Could Harry have found and destroyed the Horcruxes without them?
- Could Harry have destroyed Voldemort without them?

Elisa (ravenclaw_patronus) | 29 comments I think learning about the Deathly Hallows is important, so that Harry can know that Voldemort really wants the Elder wand, but they are not necessary for Harry to have in order to destory him. Harry can destroy Voldemort with the, simply by destroying all the Horcruxes. He doesn’t need the Deathly Hallows in order to destroy the Horcruxes, he can do it on his own.
