The Battle of Actium was the engagement between Octavian and Marc Antony & Cleopatra in 31 BC. Cleopatra and Antony escaped to Alexandria but Antony was never the same. He struggled with the guilt of leaving some of his men behind.

This victory of Octavian's led to the surrender of Egypt and both, Cleopatra and Marc Antony's death.

Could these acts have happened differently if Cleopatra and Antony would have stayed in Rome?

Mary | 22 comments I think because of Rome and the power struggles of Octavian, events would have led to a similar result, but just been delayed for a time.
