Scott | 25027 comments I guess we could put a zero in front of the single digits in the sort by space. I don't know if we are supposed to, though.

That is not what the sort-by field is for.

Sort-by titles have the/a/an/el/la/las/los etc. removed from the beginning, to allow The Scarecrow to sort under S, and El Hombre to sort under H.

Scott | 25027 comments Well yeah I knew that...but I meant in a more general sense. If it is intended to make the system sort titles properly, could not other methods be used there as well, if needed?

you know very well that we are not sorting titles by they number in the series :)
If we were to do so the sort field would be '(series name #x) title'.
This is no different.
